The ball will be spawned when you press the button behind the potato. After you press the button put 2 portals in the correct position to destroy the observation glass

Very nice map. I am blocked in rhe room where i found a cube, throwed it to have the lightbridge, but cannot obtain the ball. The piedestal on the ceter don't give me this ball...

Strange, never happened to me. Just try to break the glass with the "ball" (error texture). Anyway if you want continue, just use noclip and fly behind the observation's glass. I don't know why you have this bug. I made this map 3 years ago, when I was novice with hammer (you can note the difference by playing to Overgrown (Part 3)). I'm sorry you had this bug, I'll see what I can do.

I had ERROR objects instead of the energy ball sender and receiver and the energy ball itself was a purple and black cube. It wasn't clear where to go before smashing the window, you just appear to be locked in, should be more intuitive. Flicker a light or something would work.

For the second chamber: you make a :p2blue: under the cube dropper e a :p2orange: on the ramp, after press the button, the cube will be launched on the button and the light bridge will turn on

I managed to get frustrated by clipping textures inthe first room (I wondered why the energy ball catcher activted, didn't work, and couldn't reactivate...). Then I managed to get trapped in the second room (the space with the portalable floor...no way to fling or otherwise portal or get out), where I didn't need the hard light bridge.

Say, was the second part of this test inspired by RandomNumbers' Improvisation ?

As someone said, we all have to start somewhere and mostly it ain't good. The chambers were a bit big and didn't had detial in it, just plain 2 texture room. There were some bugs, flying rocks and lamps, lights weren't.... lets just say most of the stuff were a mess.
But starting from something, learning from what you made to improve future creations is what I see here.

So good luck and hope to see some more.

Why use symbols? Your puzzle can benefit from magnet portals and auto-save points. I trapped myself in the last room because I didn't know how to get back up to the other side and try again.

The energy ball is fine for me. Great chamber, but here are a few tips:
The first chamber is far too large and in the second one, the button should have a signage to indicate what it does. It can actually be confusing.

And for the bird, I think you can rotate the prop_dynamic so the animation will make it fly in the hole in the ceiling at the center of the map. Or you can carve the wall where the bird go.

For the energy ball... I don't know either :D: But you can maybe disable the enery ball and parent a ball brush + env_sprite, so it looks like a glowing sphere and it does the exact same thing. Just try...

Thanks for the video, I will solve all problems, however for the energy ball and for the bird I do not know how to solve because: the bird have one animation (nest_flyOff) can I create an animation for the bird?

I used the tools / clip because without that the cube would always went over the button,

I thumbs up because you had good ideas. But there was plenty of bugs...
First, your test chambers are too big for the puzzle you make, so the player is quickly lost.
I can see that lights are not what you prefer, cause i saw neons floating in the air many times...
And for the second test, when you have to throw the cube on the other side of the chamber, the cube doesn't directly fits in the cube button, I tried 10 times I guess, and then a found another way to finish the map. ( you can use the tools/clip around the cube button so the cube is blocked by the clip and it works at the 1st try. )

Are you using Portal 2 Authoring Tools on this map?
