Your "easy Test" helped me a lot to procceed within the small hallway to the left.
For this Test, I could recommend you my PortCube , although it is way more blind bending, but I think not much more difficult in the end. Hope you like big mazes.

good combonations of items, working together very well.
the only negaive, is I never got to kill those turrets.
but they did bring atmosphere to the map.
& suspence.
as when you know their are turrets on the map.
you ask yourself, are their more, lying in wait somewhere ?
when the last laserfield goes off, we can't see what has happened.
I would consider using glass, to show when it is off,
from the polarity changing pedestal button, below.
