Blindrun
Around the same difficulty as Part 2. Solution is a little simpler but still one of the “hidden in plain sight” ones some people may have to look around for a while to find. Didn’t take me too too long but my brain was cooked by the time I got to this chamber so I don’t blame myself for taking maybe a little longer than I should have otherwise.

These are the kinds of puzzles I almost respect most though - very simple-looking ones with solutions our brains normally just aren’t wired to find all that easily.

Difficulty: 6/10
Design: 10/10
Enjoyed: 7.5/10

A nice puzzle which took me only a short amount of time, but that doesn't make the solution less elegant, it just shows that this is how I like my challenges. Thumbs up

I solved this years ago using all 3 laser sockets however this time I found another solution that ignores highest socket. Good map, great series!

Solves in one minute :D

I might of used a glitch to solve the puzzle.

I completed the final step without meaning to. I was on the risers when they were level with each other halfway up, pondering what complicated bit of laser redirection I would need to set up so I cold rise to the exit. Turns out, in order to get where I was, I had already solved the puzzle. I just needed to allow the risers to return to their starting point.

Quite a logical brain teaser and yes.., I think scrificing the cube to allow the laser to switch from the lower platform receiver to the upper platform receiver is the correct solution.

Now that I think about it, is sacrificing the cube the intended solution?

I don't think I solved this one correctly. If you offset the portal that allows the laser to enter and get the laser cube on the other side of the fizzler by also having it offset by not having it get in the way of the laser when sent perfectly center through, it can be solved that way.

I found this easier than Parts 1 and 2 and had no difficulty with execution. Thumbs up!

Simple little laser puzzle, not as difficult as 2, 4 or 5, but still a very well-done map.

Would like to see the intended solution to this one - I solved it by trial and error cube dropping from the first platform until I got a line up on the other room laser catcher - not elegant, but worked and bypasses much of the other elements.

Findong the solution was SOOOOOOOO satisfying, wow.
chris45215 Jul 5, 2013 @ 9:49pm
good, but a bit too fiddly with exact details. The room is still a very clever design, and there are ways to design away from the perfect placements that the room requires. So, the map is 99% as good as any map can be; and 100% as good as a map with this type of solution can be. Well done..

Good map; not too difficult, but still fun. BTW there is a hole in the side room with the second laser catcher, that looks like you can crawl through it. Could be a nice spot for an easter egg :)

Good map, but I found a glitch . Fortunately, it can be easily corrected.

attention au lasers rouge!
brucewillis Jun 23, 2013 @ 11:49am
having to line up that lens with no laser going through it was brutal

I swear you have posted that comment on all of my maps in this series. Here is how you get traffic on your maps:

1. Make QUALITY maps

2. Show them to FRIENDS

3. Rinse and repeat

Finally test rooms very very well designed, it is nice to see Wheatley, I almost feel like playing Portal 3 ! ^ _ ^ '

Damm, first I thought there's no possible solution for this one. I was so frustrated, and I got that... that ITCH. Ohh... But when i DID get it, ohh, man alive. Nothing felt better.

Another nice one!!! :D
DrFauli Jun 22, 2013 @ 3:11am
Well, this one was somehow really "easy", but still a good puzzle.
I didn't have to figure it out too much, it was a little bit straight forward.

Again: nice map design and a good puzzle.

good

I have no idea why this was easy for me and the first 2 very difficult

really like how these ones have buttons/portable wall that are not neccesary, really get you think outside the box.
