Haha we tried everything, even found a way to get the laser over without turning the cube, sadly you need the portals on the other side though xD. Thanks for the cool map.

I didn't know this tech was possible in the base game. Would have been nice if you explained it before we do the level.

OMG, it’s really the hardest map I’ve ever played. With my friend we spent I think an hour and a half to solve, here you need to really think outside the box, though it is weird. Holly molly, it’s awfully map, try this only if you don't mind your nerves, hahah)
Matoff.Estatica Jun 16, 2022 @ 3:31pm
Dint like it.

easily the worst puzzle i have ever had the misfortune of playing. A spit in the face of anyone who downloads it. Can't believe the creator still has it on the workshop
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Nov 14, 2017 @ 9:38pm
I was never fully satisfied with the result of this map. The cube rotation isn't all that logical. At the time, didn't have a way to make it work. BEEMOD2 could have something. Also I have pushed the entity limit, so I can't fix issues. I consider EP3 and EP6 (next after this) the best coops I have ever produced.
Ultimatemaximus Nov 14, 2017 @ 9:34pm
Having to turn the cube is really fucking dumb. Puzzle was great up until then. That made it just super bad
spieldiening Nov 9, 2017 @ 8:01am
Super hard. We used the video. If one could only leave a text hint in the map for turning the cube.
mYst Aug 1, 2017 @ 3:33pm
Worst. Map. Ever.
Are you serious?
1+ hour waisted time.
Oniimusha May 8, 2017 @ 6:48pm
After playing 1, 2, 3 and 4, me and my friend spent more than a hour trying to solve this one, and after I gave up trying to find it out, went to youtube for the solution, and, oh boy, fuck me right? I'm trying to solve this shit with science and you expect me to use magic...
Thumbs down, sadly, poorly crafted map, rly.:cfacepalm:
Elenesski Jul 25, 2015 @ 1:57pm
This level crashes on startup ... not sure if it need a special mod or not.
NeuTronas Aug 21, 2014 @ 4:53am
Was very hard to find out, it's pretty much impossible to find that angle with bouncers. We had to use help video for that. Too hard
TS_Mind_Swept Aug 7, 2014 @ 4:32pm
I could see a way out over there, he just didn't take it. (it should have worked, idk what the problem was there)
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Aug 7, 2014 @ 1:50am
I am aware of the trapping issue. I can't fix it because I reached the entity limit of 1750 and even if that wasn't the case, I don't have any ideas for anti-trapping methods to fix that. :(
The Sojourner Aug 7, 2014 @ 12:46am
I got trapped at one point in this test, and my partner couldn't free me nor could I kill myself. But I see that's been discussed to death :P
TS_Mind_Swept Jul 30, 2014 @ 10:57pm
aaaaAAAAAAHHHH!!!! 7/10
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Dec 12, 2013 @ 11:03pm
That may open more problems...
Blue Dec 12, 2013 @ 6:40pm
1 White tile could already solve it probably. Leaving it all up to you. Item limit is a bitch.
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Dec 12, 2013 @ 3:42pm
I see...like I said before, this update may not happen because of the error I ran into.
Blue Dec 12, 2013 @ 2:12pm
Have noticed the goo, which as you say in the vid isn't needed to return. Im talking about the other fizzler area. The one where you have to press buttons to activate elevators the other player can climb. We couldn't find a way to portal out of there. (when split up) If there is one that we missed, please point it to me :)
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Dec 12, 2013 @ 1:49pm
There is goo you can jump in on that other side. Also took into consideration portals can be placed on either side of the grates of the fizzler fling area.

If I update to make it better, I remember running into "too many items" error. It may not happen.
Blue Dec 12, 2013 @ 1:19pm
In the far right front area with the fizzlers. 1 Of us stayed in the beginning area with the water, the other went in that fizzler area and could not get out. No white surface available (if you jump you hit the fizzler).
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Dec 7, 2013 @ 8:57pm
Where?
Blue Dec 7, 2013 @ 5:35pm
I know this and I agree with you, but I am talking about getting stuck in a place where you can not kill yourself, nor the other player can rescue you. Had to noclip back to the beginning.
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Dec 6, 2013 @ 9:59pm
There is no death penalty in coop so suicide is possible without losing progress unlike single player mode.
Blue Dec 6, 2013 @ 7:46pm
Very nice. Just too bad there is at least 1 place you can get stuck. In the fizzler area when the other player is still at the water side.
gambilier Nov 17, 2013 @ 10:46am
Very good, took about a hour and a half to solve this sick one.
wbburns Aug 3, 2013 @ 10:02pm
Most evil workshop map ever!
Danny Blank Jul 25, 2013 @ 5:10pm
At no point during the single or multiplayer game are you taught that you can rotate boxes. I was thinking I needed to make them point up but I didn't know that that was even possible as when you press e they reset to the defualt position. Smart design on your side but I want my 2.5 hours back. :B1:
wildgoosespeeder  [author] Jul 18, 2013 @ 1:43am
@Maxtasy
This is where a difficulty rating feature would be nice here in the Portal 2 Workshop where players not only thumbs up maps, but also how they would rate it in terms of difficulty.
Maxtasy Jul 17, 2013 @ 7:17pm
Okay. My partner in science and I spent well over one and a half hour on this one. We usually solve all other levels within some minutes, but this one...holy cow. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Excellent Partnership levels 1 through 4 were rates 1-2 and this one 10. Apart from all the areas where you can get stuck and can't even kill yourself we managed to finally get the glass cube facing upwards and thought we solved it all. Not at all. That last bit was just such a brain bender and we gave up. Then i watched the video and I felt suddenly really dumb. It's a great map for professionals, but way too hard for the regular casual Portal 2 player, that's probably why it's rated to low. I still gave it a thumbs up since it seems to be a nice map afterall. :p2wheatley:

A solution video has been uploaded and linked. See screenshots.
The Mean Man May 31, 2013 @ 3:49am
I'm excited to see the solution :)
wildgoosespeeder  [author] May 31, 2013 @ 1:16am
A solution video is done being recorded, edited, and compressed. It will be uploaded tomorrow.
Shakeable Drip May 30, 2013 @ 6:00pm
yup no joy here spent 3 hours on it
The Mean Man May 30, 2013 @ 1:06am
We're still determined to figure it out amongst ourselves, but if we just absolutely give up, we'll look at the video :)
wildgoosespeeder  [author] May 29, 2013 @ 11:26pm
@Lantresor
I guess a solution video is called for. The rating is not good for this workshop item because this chamber is leaving a lot of people stumped and they think the chamber is unsolvable. I got tons of other recordings to do for my other tests. I guess I'll start working on the coop solution videos.
The Mean Man May 29, 2013 @ 10:28pm
My friend and I are stumped. The first four were beautiful, and I'm sure I'll agree that 5 is as well once we figure it out, but as I write this we've messed around on it for about an hour or two. We, pretty sure not as intended, got the lazer to reach the ending recepticle that pours the blue gel, but we had to use portals to angle the lazer to reach it, and once we go through the force field to the begining, our portals are lost and we no longer have the lazer. We rigged it another way to get the lazer reaching the recepticle using only portals outside the jumping puzzle room, and alas our portals were used when the blue gel did release, so it went on the jump pads straight to the ceiling. This is a very very challenging end to the set, and to be completely frank, I do not know without looking it up, how on earth I am to finish it. One would be wise to respect the mind that created this incredibly elaborate puzzle...
FatFed May 28, 2013 @ 10:20am
Most epic map I've played so far :D
wildgoosespeeder  [author] May 5, 2013 @ 4:24pm
There is a reason why two angled panels facing each other in the middle of the toxic water pool and why my puzzle is called Gravity...
Lord Helmchen May 5, 2013 @ 12:58pm
yeah but how? ;)
Peter May 5, 2013 @ 9:56am
Worked it out. :P
wildgoosespeeder  [author] May 4, 2013 @ 11:25pm
You have to somehow figure out how to apply the blue gel at an angle, but all portalable surfaces are in 90-degree increments (except for the one angled panel).
Peter May 4, 2013 @ 8:12am
I agree, how the hell do you get out on the final part.
Lord Helmchen May 4, 2013 @ 7:54am
What is the planned way to end the map? How is it planned to reach the exit?
Blazier Apr 23, 2013 @ 7:51am
@MihayX You've probably already figured it out, but you need to click Subscribe.
Zelos Apr 20, 2013 @ 6:11am
where is the download buton ? Today i just buyed the game thinking it will appear the download buton
Requiemsoul Apr 15, 2013 @ 3:30pm
