Perhaps delete all of the maps and folders that relate to this mod (save them somewhere else incase it doesn't work) and try resubbing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the maps, rather are there specific settings that need to be set for each map? Like an exact amount of people (maps reserved for 2 or 8 exactly), spots that should be reserved for computer. Also I accidentally deleted one of the scenarios, is there anyway of getting it back? Tried re-suscribing to no avail.

Very strange Henry, haven't come across that problem!! Perhaps try a few other creators maps and see if the problem persists?

So I downloaded this and I can easily get to the scenarios in a multiplayer game, but whenever I try to start them different things happen. I.E: resources are changed for all players, unit spawns in maps like cstle blood switch positions into enemy areas, the AI instantly vanishes and the game ends, etc. I honestly have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

To play the scenarios, install AOE2 HD, click subscribe on this page. Open AOE2 HD and select play custom scenario in single or multiplayer.

From memory you place them spaced out then drag them on top of each other, then copy paste more and more on top of each other. It has been a while since I fiddled though!

How do I put many units or building on the same place? For example, in the Paintball scenario players start with many Hand Cannoneers in the same tile.

launch the maps in singple player and read the hints and tips. The mass unit maps are basically death matches but your units will usually spawn for you. You get bonuses for kills and need to destroy each others bases. RPG maps give you one hero to use on an adventure (like lord of the rings) and if your hero dies you lose.

I played a long time ago, but i just played with my brother. Now that ive been playing alot more i have much more interest but am unsure of what alot of these scenarios are (also having trouble finding info on all of them from the web). Any chance we could see what each scenario basically is in a brief description? Or am i just stupid and didn't see it somewhere? Thanks.

That's a good set! There's still some less known maps that I miss, but that's not the point here. I think I need to collect those somwehre. Like Art Of Defence (be in middle with 8 guys, build defences against endlessly spawning enemies, have one stronger pike guy to start)

Players 2 through 7 do not get any resources, only player 1. I did a quick fix by just setting the beggining food wood and stone amounts for players 2 through 7 to 3000. I couldn't find the appropriate trigger, but I suppose it doesn't matter too much, it works great now. The Scarens still get the resource bonus aswell.

Have you tried getting your friend to join as a different player? Have the computer in the second slot then get him to join in the third slot.

Dunno if your still around but when I try to play Ancient TD with a buddy, and the rest computer, only I get the 3000 resources at the start, he starts off with zip (0 of everything). I have everything on standard, teams locked and such. We tried multiple times to fix it, but no dice. Can anything be done?

Anyone knows how to change pop limit to 200 in CBA HTG? Its a good scenario, but 75 pop ruins everything.

i have made the shops reveal now just for you guys who are asking for it. Also some balance changes done.

Not really, just looad them up against the computer to get a feel for what you are meant to do. Most of them only work properly in multiplayer and it is more a case of the old pc trial and error to learn the game!

Don't worry guys the reveal places work after a player harald's goes to the specific area it will be lighting up, i did this so preys won't know what's the hunter moving and doing in some important areas, that's why i made it like this.
Even though it could be a little bit bad for new players to understand the map.

I had a look. I am not sure if that is a bug, I always thought they were the areas the map wanted to reveal, glimpses of the enemy troops, power up locations etc.

Unfortunatly even if I updated the reveal locations it wouldn't update your version, steam workshop doesn't seem to work perfectly with age of empires still as far as I know.

BDtetra the reason why i haven't made any player can be playing as hunter, it's because there are massive amount of triggers which i have made for green.
If i assume that i will be making any player can be a hunter it would take me 10 years to make that so..
If Microsoft Studios made players be able to change their positions inside the lobby then problem would be solved instead of rejoining to get player 3.

Thank you very much for uploading my UDP Deathly Cliffs map into the list, i put a lot of afford into it.
If people enjoy playing it and want me to balance and fix bugs i might do it, I remember i stopped working on it a longtime now. version 7.08 was created in 2012/08/25 (before AOE II HD was released).
My map has over 6530 triggers there is endless fun and secrets on it, i hope that more people play it =)

As the prey, with UDP Deathly Cliffs. Most of the time these maps reveal portion of it to all players to show important locations. Some of the parts it shows seems, well, off. An easy place to tell this is that you can't see the hunter's king who's standing close to the center of the map (your objective). It seems that the coordinates that reveal the map are slightly off and some of them should be positioned a little bit more to the North West (At the moment I think they are positioned South East of where they should be positioned). The bottom right portion is revealed correctly (the place where the host does his settings for the game). I don't know if you can fix this, but it would be greatly helpful if you can.

Which UDP are you speaking about? I haven't had any trouble. Which player are you playing as to receive the problems, the hunter or the prey?

I assumed so. I was wondering since in some UDP games the host can actually choose who becomes the hunter.Also why is the vision on the map messed up for the game? It seems to be lighting up some random places on the map and not lighting up key places like the food store in the west? I know you didn't make the map but was just wondering if this was just a consequence for porting it over to HD or it was in the original, because I don't remember it like this.

Both the UDP maps work normally for me. I use standard settings but the map recommends lock teams to be also ticked. Teams work themselves out for you. Your issue may be with a mod not working with this map for some reason?? Not sure sorry!

There are hundreds of things wrong with it, I uploaded the wrong file when I made the mod but the update is ready when AOE2HD fixes subscriber updates. Also Volume 2 has some good archer maps.

Ya. This version of Archers Blood kept making my units (as Orange) move to one spot over and over. Try moving the units, they lag for a second, then run back to the same spot. As well, oranges Hand Cannoners do not spawn correctly. They spawn, but do not path off the spawn location, therefore blocking anything new from spawning

Shame you included that version of Archers Blood. It is indeed extremely buggy and should not be in this pack. It is far from being the best version, especially since it does not work correctly.

Also no I did more than add my name to it, I fixed 100s of bugs on each map, you would be suprised how many problems they come with. Once we can update mods properly we can keep updating until we have a perfect set.
