Cool map

Thanks for testing.

A little easier than I expected, and I see why in the description. But don't feel this one is subpar or anything. Despite being easier than you intended, it's still high quality and after all this time my bar is pretty high.

Thank you.

Nice map, I liked getting both cubes and the end.

Thanks or playing.

Well, there's a move you don't see very often: cube-climb up to a portal just to get the laser at the correct height . Also I'm not sure if this was an exploit or not, but I was able to jump to a certain platform while airstrafing, meaning the recessed stairs were useless.

No problem, thanks for playing.

Thanks for playing, I will start posting the videos.

Yes to the walkthroughs! About 80% of the time I have to search through the comments to find someone's video to get me through a rough patch.

Oh and yes, I did like the map (:

Thanks for playing, I hope you liked it too.

A quick survey... very few of my chambers have walkthroughs... would you be in favor of me posting walkthroughs on my chambers?
Yavie 12/jun./2014 às 14:35
Wow... a map of yours that I could finish (; When I saw the exit door open, I thought "ok, now what's through here" in dread!

Thank you.
Bender's 12Monkeys 27/jan./2014 às 12:45
Very cool. I liked the little laser offset trick at the end. Well done.
Andi  [autor(a)] 12/jan./2014 às 16:13
Yeah, this chamber is fairly easy.
dire.fcs 11/jan./2014 às 21:58
Finally an easy one ... Very good work!!!
Andi  [autor(a)] 13/mai./2013 às 1:58
In my opinion, if you make it through a chamber and get to the exit, you did it right. Sometimes it may not be the intended solution but if it works, more power to you.

I struggled with this one. Not sure I did it right but managed to get there. I liked the huge chambers. I'm going to have to try that. Enjoyed playing. See ya round the workshop.

No prob. What I usually find when play-testing one of my maps to check its functionality, is that it's so easy to get focused on the intended solution, that you can easily miss little things. So I then try everything imaginable that's "unintended".
Andi  [autor(a)] 2/abr./2013 às 11:20
Thanks again, it has been changed.
Skyferret 2/abr./2013 às 10:20
Your welcome. One thing I forgot to mention. When you first walk in, and enter the very large chamber (where the goo pond is), you see the smaller chambers, one to the left, and the other to the right. When I stand there to the right as far as possible, I can peak into the left chamber and see the portalable wall. I'm not too sure if I should be able to see it or not. If the intent is to get up to the right sub-chamber first, then portal to the left, you might want to hide the portalable walls from view in the left chamber. Just a thought.
Andi  [autor(a)] 2/abr./2013 às 10:08
Thanks for trying my map. You solved this chamber exactly the way it was intended. The companion cube is not obtainable. Since I've started making chambers I've hidden a companion cube in every map I've made except three... maybe four. Some cubes are easy to find (like this one) others are hard to find, like Xanthippe (which is very difficult to find). I've been hiding companion cubes as sort of a side quest for the player.
Skyferret 30/mar./2013 às 12:48
It's pretty huge inside, but at least the player can portal their way to where they need to go without excess walking. As Innocentive mentioned, and I think I know what he means, I did not need the Companion Cube. I put the standard cube on the floor below the portal where the laser beam needs to go in, jumped up on the cube, and jumped through the portal and out through the other portal across the goo pond. So I guess if the laser was higher, you'd need to stack the cubes (Standard and Companion) to jump through. Also, I wasn't too sure how to get the Companion Cube. Maybe I just missed it. Other than that, it's a nice concept worth a bit of thinking.
Andi  [autor(a)] 23/mar./2013 às 10:14
Good idea, I may just do that. GLaD to hear you enjoyed it.
Innocentive 22/mar./2013 às 22:58
Very solid and very nice puzzle. To make it a tad more difficult, I would position the laser emitter at the top of the tile, not in its center ... ;D
