Black Marsh RMS

Açıklama
Black Marsh is a random map with water closed off from trees, filled with large shallow paths
which run across from player to player. The map favours early Fuedal age combat and has
slightly smaller stone mines than your average map to further hinder later game defences.

Thank you for the website. I read the rmsg.doc guide and it cleared up a lot. I now tried my own, but it iss still not as cool as your map looks, many bugs and things I dont know how to get.

Your welcome to add me and I'll send you over the working files if i can find them. I actually included this in my uni dissertation with each step of building a RMS. But perhaps i should just publish an quick tutorial on it over the weekend wit the downloads there.

It might be easier than those guides really its not any where near as complex as it first seems. I'd recommend downloading a bunch and just reading them as well though, if you copy one, edit it and run it you can see what happens as a result.

Should still work, you can edit any RMS you download from the game files :) under mods. I learn't from Dragon gaming design network but the website seems to be having issues atm

You can open any RMS you download with Notepad

I dont think it works anymore with the new version. But if so, can you send me the code? I really like your map and I am learning rms now as well, so I thought that I could learn from this map on how to do my own. I won't upload this map, or any close variant of it under my name without asking your permission.

The map should be AI compatible but it's not something I've thoroughly tested.

Ah, unfortunately that screenshot mode doesn't work with the new Age of Empires HD. The team managed to break it. If you have a copy of the original game it's Ctrl+F12 and you can select the resolution to render too.

I guess for the purpose of trade it makes sense to do that, otherwise tradecarts might be walking through the middle of the map to get to allies (and would get attacked on the way).
