But there is huge inconvenience when splitting caravan. Your should remeber and manually pick every single sidearm for every pawn.
Yes, I have activated settings options "preserve/hide sidearms in/through caravans dialogs".
But they do not work for me, maybe because I use "TradeHelper"

Instead of hiding sidearms I propose to mark them as siderams in a caravan dialog's list of items in trade or splitting caravan. A small right arrow to under weapon icon for leaving group. And a left arrow under weapon icon for initial group.
