Pre-Norsca save games will not work with this version, use this one instead!

You WILL require at least one of the mods from this collection to properly use this one, depending on which factions you want to play in Single Player. For Multiplayer, all factions will be available no matter which one you pick.

About this Mod
This mod aims to create a Vanilla Enhanced experience, with a focus on campaign level improvements that should not conflict with classic Overhauls like Steel Faith or Radious. To maximize the game's replayability, it unlocks all factions available in the game and adds a few missing ones.

It also combines the functionality of some other mods which improved specific aspects of the campaign, but were incompatible with each other.

The final major advantage that this mod provides is to be a platform to enable other modders to create fully customized Legendary Lords out of the vanilla Faction Leaders and also customize Settlements as much as possible, which many modders are using to create new types of mods.

I will continue to improve this project and try to break the limits of what modders can do as much as possible, so if you want to be a part of this project, then feel free to enjoy what I managed to create so far and please report all bugs you may find!

This mod won't work alongside other mods that need to modify startpos.esf to work as intended.
These are mainly mods that modify information about how the campaign map is populated with settlements, lords, armies and so on at the start of a campaign.

I had no idea any of those things could be edited anyway besides the startpos.esf! I haven’t seen many script tutorials except for editing missions, any advice on where to begin and look with that stuff? I’m mostly familiar with DaVE, still quite newer to modding.

Although I don't mind it, these things sound like they can be quite easily resolved via just script modifications and thus stay much more compatible.

Hey, I didn't see if this was clarified anywhere, and I wanted to ask you first. I'm working on a startpos mod that aims to rebalance the opening game, and give it a bigger feel from early on. Bigger empires, armies, more day 1 diplomacy, etc., for a more loreful and less sandbox-y play. I was wondering if it was okay if I included your assets, given that I obviously credit you for the amazing foundation. My aim is to make it compatible with your WH2 mod once I figure out all that I need to.

I heard of it before, but I have no idea where it comes from and almost everything of this mod was ported over to Warhammer 2 yet it doesn't happen there, so I'm not sure what to do about it.

Hey Crynsos, has anybody mentioned before about the game not having pop ups about destroyed factions anymore? Because this issue has happened after I started a new campaign with the Crynsos Unlocker mods so wondering if others have this issue.

Yeah, it should be resolved once Norsca come out properly in Warhammer 2, as I'm not sure how much more time I will invest into Warhammer 1.

So, a fairly minor issue, but the faction leader of the Bjorling faction, Jormungand Sagaprophet, seems to be a bit bugged. He is a sorcerer--and a rather exceptional one at that, with a bunch of unusual but really cool lore access. Thing is, he's still got the model of a Norscan chieftan, which would be fine (flavorful and cool, for that matter) except his skeleton(?) seems to be that of a sorcerer. Meaning there's some graphical oddities: His shoulder armor doesn't move with him on certain motions, his cape twitches /wildly/ sometimes even growing massively for brief frames of animation when he casts spells, limbs clip into his torso, etc.
Since the Bjorlings aren't playable even in the norsca faction unlocker submod (without bugs) this is far from a pressing concern, but figured it was worth putting somewhere.
