I've tried to stay positive about this game but in the end i still have to force myself to actually play it, I expected to like it, but I did not. I wanted to like this game so so much but just can't. The spark that once brought me to monster hunter isn't in this game. when I played Monster hunter tri and world it felt like a compelling world that these characters lived in and the wonder of the monster was so strong and even with the repeat of a lot of the monster from other games being used in world the credits still brought me to tears, something about the amazing feel of achievement and overcoming challenge mixed with the Intense music was just so meaningful. This game however is missing all of that; mundane achievements that seem rushed and lazy in origin, no sense of exploration because of the lack of interactive content and general empty feel of the terrain. Maybe its just me but this game just feels like its missing everything that made the Monster Hunter series feel unique.
