this game has gone down hill with each and every update that comes out. vehicles have little to no health at all. rpgs deal trash aoe damage. and some of my friends deal with an error "cannot connect to databases please try again later". unoptimized trash of a game trying to grip the copium out of those who are too stuck in nostalgia trying to hold onto halo.

After the latest update, the game is unplayable; leaving matches sometimes crashes the games, and matches in games sometimes freeze in place

Before I start my review, I would like to say that I have played a total of around 30 to 31 hours of the game, running around, completing missions, romancing Panam, helping Judy out with her side mission, and overall having fun playing the game (I am also nearing the end of the game taking Panams ending route). However, the reason why I'm giving the game a negative review is that, the game has a lot of problems that need to get polished out. Again, my goal with this review is not to dunk and harm the game and the community, but to bring light to the bugs I've come across in hopes of them getting fix, and the playing experience worked out.

To start off, my biggest complaint/annoyance are the police. Compared to other games like GTA, or red faction, the police in cyberpunk have a broken, "I will spawn behind you and shoot you" kind of annoyance. there's no car chase, there's no shoot out with the police. It just feels as if the game punishes you for going out of your way to be chaotic, and who hasn't wanted to be chaotic in a game before? we've all kill civs in assassins creed, GTA, red faction, Skyrim, etc., etc. what’s even more annoying is, when you get to star level 4 (highest star level I believe), if you're driving a vehicle, BOOOM, f**k you, you can’t drive away, you just get killed from a missile that came from nowhere. if you’re on the ground with level 4 stars, then you get about 20 cops shooting at you all at once, as soon as you turn around (they literally all spawn in one single area, so when you turn around to look at them, they all look like the chickens exploding from one block being broken in Minecraft).

Secondly, vehicles; now I've been lucky where I haven’t gotten any broken vehicle glitches like others, such as the vehicle driving, but its half way in the ground, but I have had glitches where I'm in the badlands and the vehicle randomly explodes on the highway road for no explanation. I’ve also gotten bugs where I'll call my vehicle in, and it either gets stuck in another vehicle causing both of them to soar to space, or both of them blowing up, and when calling in yet another one, spawns in the same area and blowing up too. I’ve also had my own vehicle run someone over, marking me with one star, and getting attacked by the police. I’ve called my vehicle in on bridges only to have it drive on air and then fall into the river or canals. nearing the end of the game where you get in panams car, you pass out and you wake up in the nomad camp, the vehicle spawned upside down. the vehicles honestly really need to be worked on badly, this in my opinion is not excusable.

Thirdly, the graphics; the graphics in this game are beautiful, they just need to be optimized even further. I have an MSI GF Thin gaming laptop with an i7-1075H with 16 gigs of ram, a gtx 1660 ti and a 1TB SSD. My laptop is doable to play games at medium to high graphics in most games, but suddenly s**ts its pants when I launch this game. I'm not trying to be that one person whose like "THIS GAME NEEDS TO RUN ON MY COMPUTER OTHERWISE ITS COMPLETE POO POOO wjakjdwkajd," I just want to bring awareness to the devs that there are sometimes constant lag spikes, dips in fps and graphical glitches, even at low settings, with dsl resolution scaling at 95 to 90% (this is my only way to keep the game on or at least close to 60 to 70 fps).

overall, I hope the devs can improve upon, and fix some of the glaring issues with the games reported by other people in the community and the reviews.

still an active community of old school players from around the world! not just that but most, actually all, are very friendly and helpful towards those who are starting out, and get their hands into killing floor! 100% recommend this good old game!!
