Destiny 1, the grind for loot was actually worth it, Destiny 2 "haha sunset go brrrrrr".

Destiny 1, some content is locked behind a paywall.
Destiny 2 is pretty much the same but with 1 key difference if you paid for anything in D2 doesn't matter what it is, 100% bungie will give it away for free at a later date.

In conclusion
Destiny 1 is like a long nice beach walk

Destiny 2 is like getting kicked in the balls til there's nothing but mush left
