Dead Cells borrows some of the best qualities from legendary games such as Dark Souls, Castlevania, and to some extent even Diablo, Spelunky and many other rogue-likes to make a challenging, fun, and rewarding rougue-like experience.

Graphics and Performance:
Animations are smooth and realistic looking.
Beautiful pixelated art and vibrant special effects.
Very atmospheric gothic fortresses, moody villages, and grimy sewers, each area presents new enemies, colors, weapons and challenges.
In the beginning area alot of enemies and places look the same, which is a letdown compared to most of the other areas.
Gameplay:
The jump, double jump, and roll all feel very quick and responsive, which is vital in a game of this genre.
Combat is challenging, forcing you to use the vast arsenal of bows, hammmers, swords, and various other weapons at your disposal, along with bombs and grenades you can find along your journey.
The cells progression system is very satisfying, collecting cells can unlock you permanent upgrades such as more HP, keeping your gold if you die, and unlocking blueprints for better weapons and bombs.
Various different playstyles to experience, with the tactics, brutality and survival skillsets each with their pro's and con's in different situations.
This quality is either a plus or negative depending on you, and that is the difficulty, if you die, you have to start over at the base area, with your base bow or shield and your sword. I personally love this difficulty of rogue-likes, but if you dont like that brutal gameplay, you might wanna skip this one out.
Area and level design:
The area and level design is phenomonal, with many shortcuts, hidden rooms and secrets, and areas that you have to go back to later to claim your reward. The levels are very interconnected, sporting many various paths to take.
Story and lore:
Not much story is here, and that is to be expected with a rogue-like, it starts you out as a blob of slime crawling into a body, to then find out you can never die, then proceeding to find your weapons and start carving up ghouls and monsters.
Price worthiness/Replayability:
Dead Cells is fully worth its $25 price tag, with endless hours of challenging and rewarding content.

Overall score: 9.5/10
An almost perfect rogue-like experience, with fun and rewarding gameplay, many different weapon playstyles to choose from, and amazing level design with gourgeous pixel art.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More- government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best of your life
