The silly crab with guns roguelike will forever be my top 2023 game and I'm glad I didn't hesitate to buy it back in April.

For what I thought in 2019 would just be a fun little meme game, it ended up exceeding my expectations by miles and is one of the games where I can play for 5+ hours in one sitting and never get bored with it for a second. The updates also keep the game fresh so I'll always keep coming back to play it. Also Puffin Party is my favorite song in the OST, it slaps SO hard while doing a run. It's worth the $10 and you won't regret buying it.

I love the unique use of real images and videos for the graphics, and the way the foliage and animals are edited so you really feel the charm and atmosphere of New Zealand nature. It's easily my favorite portrayal of a forest environment and it reminds me of forests I would sometimes see in my dreams. The music also complements the calm vibes of the game. Played the demo last year and knew it'd be my type of relaxing puzzle game.

Also when I got the "You Monster" achievement at the end of the game and then approach the fly lord to release all the flies in one area, the game froze until I restart it (only annoyance I ran into, but the game is worth playing through nonetheless)
