Well and above one of the best games I've played that's been released in the last decade, with a bombastic early 2000's artstyle and gorgeous cel shading that puts most to shame, all while set to a kickass soundtrack composed by the likes of Hideki Naganuma, 2 Mello, Klaus Veen, and countless other fantastically talented artists. If you grew up putting untold hours into Jet Set Radio and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on their PS2 like I did, you will enjoy every moment of this game.

pretty good, but tends to run a bit choppy when loading in terrain. the server locations seem to be a bit limited so odds are you're going to be playing with a decent amount of latency.

Despite having been one of my favorite games of the last few decades, playing this game after Meet your Match has instilled such a massive sense of burn out every time I boot it up every few months that I cannot recommend that anyone picks the game up in good consciousness. From the outright refusal of Valve to address any of the longstanding problems plaguing the game at large, such as the unending bot crisis, to the stagnancy-induced autocannibalization of the community, the game I once played and loved is no more -- only its decomposing corpse remains to passively generate Valve revenue with fewer updates over longer and longer spans of time with less and less effort put in with each successive patch. Fix the damn game Valve, I want to have fun with it again.
