A great game that keeps giving, the choice of feeding cards into every character as you play them more and more is a great choice.

One of the best co-op games to date, this game is tailored to bring an experience that's solid on a lot of angles. It has a great campaign for starters. Followed with a sandbox mode that's there to fulfill what you might lack from the main story. There are many serious and joke weapons strewn around the map, complimented by a wide array of psychopaths and their delightful boss themes.

Be it on your own or with a pal, this game is sure to bring you both challenges and laid back fun.

Laggy title screen that seemed to be cobbled together in a day?

Default control scheme being a mess and if you reconfigure and restart the game the controls will be shown as default in-game again?

But the online co-op, it was so awful. Disconnections around every corner, we were lucky to make it to the first saving point. We picked our favourite heroes, went to the next area and it would always crash there. Menu's are as buggy as hell and even trying to host a game was sluggish and unbearable. It is very unlikely Activision will fix these issues so I am afraid this will be a definite no. Not worth your money, not even during a sale unless you want to go single player with awful optimalization.

Yes this game looks terrible, yes this game has wonky physics

But seriously if every low effort Steam game was like this we wouldn't have any problems. Frequent updates, fun gameplay, different modes each with their own difficulty and just pure joy.

This game proves that you don't need fancy dev teams and years of development to make something that's just FUN

This game is an amazing game, unfortunately it isn't a stable co-op experience (the thing that makes this game worth buying in my eyes). I will surely buy this game again when the co-op is stable enough to play a full game with friends. But before that is a reality however I must recommend against this game.

And thus the prophecy is fulfilled that Hi-Rez manages to screw up every game they make through sheer neglect or overthinking the whole thing. The latter applies here.

This game is the equivalent of a surprisingly good yoghurt you forgot about in the back of the fridge

It hasn't been treated well lately, it has been around longer than anything else you own, you expect to encounter the stench of a thousand corpses while opening it after looking at the date.

But then it turns out good and you're happy you bothered looking into it.

This game is free, this game is amazing and it is tons of fun when you manage to play it with your friends. Overall a great experience that mainly focusses on two modes. Objective mode where you have to traverse a set of objectives with slightly different item locations/objectives on other playthroughs and Survival mode where you have to survive waves of the undead while protecting a base before getting evacuated.

What seperates this game from any other zombie shooting game is the little tweaks that make this game more "real" and harder to play on first tries. First off it's impossible to kill all the zombies in Objective mode, you have to find a way around them or kill a majority with melee weapons before proceeding. Your inventory is limited, you never know when you need those bandages or if a few extra bullets will prevent the bleeding through shooting.

You can get infected and you can fend the infection off with pills, putting a timer on your actions. You have to look at your ammo count to see how much ammo you have and what ammo type you need for your gun. So randomly picking up ammo with your limited space is not a viable option.

Also even if you are experienced with this game you WILL die sometimes, you can get bitten 3 times and nothing can happen but the smallest slip can let you get infected. And the faster infected look like the rest so their arrival can be unpredictable. There are enough spaces in the maps where being caught alone certainly means death.

Overall this is a great experience, for the same price you can stare at a brick wall or play League of Legends. Both eventually drive you insane, so why not have a go at this?

After standing the tests of time it still is one of the most creative, unique and just uncanny games out there. It pains me greatly that there's no sequel to this masterpiece.

First off the game is awesome, unlocking ghosts through the entire playthrough while buying upgrades with plasm you earn with how well and fast you perform through levels. It gives your favourite ghosts new powers and can branch off between two choices

You start with a reasonable amount of ghosts but your army amasses as you save ghosts from their objects/past by solving puzzles. The AI functions surprisingly well and a lot of details have been put in the game like lakes freezing when you use freezing enviroment moves.

I don't want to spoil much because playing it for the first time is a true journey, the puzzle levels can be punishing near the end level and the massive amount of mortals can be discouraging near the end but it all is worth it all around and can be fun even in its most unfair times.

And sometimes this game is under a buck during all the major sales.

Despite all the bad rep this game got I must say that it's just a delightful experience for anyone. The amount of things you can unlock is insane, the collection of masks, materials, colours and symbols is f2p friendly and matchmaking is really smooth. The community is surprisingly friendly after a free giveaway and I can only count myself lucky to be a part of it

Especially for free this game is just a treat, something that will probably waste away complete hours of my time, time I don't mind wasting this way.
