Sony reverted the PSN change, no longer requiring a 3rd party account. Great game with great devs.

I was so sad after therapy, but then CS2 absolutely cheered me up with friends. Might just be a testament of our friendship, but the game is a great medium regardless. Solid upgrade from CS:GO.

By far one of the most soul draining and time consuming games I have ever played. Hidden under the layers of garbage is a phenomenal class building system and amazing gun play. All of the good content is locked behind DLC. So while the game is free to play, you'll get a very bare-bones experience until you purchase some of the DLC. I recommend Beyond Light and Witch Queen if you enjoy PvE content. Get Lightfall only if it's on sale, it's not worth $50. I'm not even sure if Shadowkeep adds anything important other than some endgame content and a handful of items.

After 9 months, the game is how it should've been at launch. The gameplay is very sound, 9/10 for me. The biggest criticism I have is that the weapon progression can be slow, and as of right now some very fun weapons are so far below that of the currently meta weapons. I recommend checking it out though, overall a good experience.

This beta is a late August 2022 build. My current impression of the game is that it will be a good launch. The instability was the prime issue that needed to be fixed, and that's what this beta is for. The content available was pretty enjoyable, a couple balance issues here and there, but otherwise good.

Early Access Review
It's like buying a game expecting it to be doom but instead you get hyperdoom featuring gore explosions and Dante from the critically acclaimed video game Devil May Cry.

This game offers an easily replayable rogue-like experience. Each game can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes, and the cards offer interesting unique playstyles for each run. This is a pretty ideal game if you have some spare time and want to shoot some chess pieces with a shotgun.

PS - Add a normal chess mode, this game's style and the ability to view chess piece's moves would make for a nice setup for standard chess. You could even add variants of the standard rules with the cards in mind.

I obviously haven't played enough to give a thorough review for this game, however it is very enjoyable.
The difficulty provides a challenge that doesn't at any point seem too unfair, but it still has that Dark Souls charm. You can also just wander around killing things and still feel like you are progressing in terms of power and skill.

PS: Go South for fun content, go North-East for challenging content.

When looked at with the $1 per 1 hour of gameplay, this DLC is worth it.

The new void items are a fun way to specialize your build with items that would otherwise be useless, and they spice up runs when you get something that may help you with a build.

The new items feel great as well. While the single-use items do feel a little simple, the DLC makes up with it by far with the more complex stuff. Additionally, a new equipment was added that gives a new method of getting boss-tier items, which gives more of a chance to incorporate them into runs.

The new enemies are challenging, but do not feel out of place.

The new bosses are very well done, however the alternative boss could use a handful of attacks, not just a few.

The new survivors are amazing. Railgunner is a revival of Sniper from Risk of Rain 1, and feels great. They aren't just a copy-paste either, and they have a kit that feels well polished. Void Fiend feels a little less polished unfortunately. I was excited to see that Void Fiend shared a similar mechanic to the Chef Bot from RoR1, but they feel a little off on many runs. Their kit allows for a large amount of starting power, but due to the nature of the 8 built in abilities, there are only a few items that seem to generally benefit Void Fiend. This isn't the end of the world, but it would've been interesting to see something that allowed for more item synergies rather than raw power.

And lastly, the new mode. This mode functions as an endless wave survival mode, and has standard mechanics mixed in. It feels well made, but I cannot say much as I do not find wave survival enjoyable.

All in all, I said "the" 16 times, so I will give this DLC an 8/10.

P.S. Don't listen to those reviews complaining about the lack of patchnotes, the game throws everything at you if you just play the game. If you get really desperate, the wiki provides great information about each thing this DLC has added.
