The Good
This game has seen grand improvements over its predecessor. Even backtracked on some of the design, balance and overall decisions from the 2nd in the franchise. This game is right out the door a near perfect capture of what the "PAYDAY" franchise is. From the gunfights, mechanics of assaults, special enemies, skills, co-op experience, RNG and so much more.

One thing that I think is a huge step up that everyone calls a downside is the progression system. I think this is one of the best forms of progression out there, especially over the previous games progression because;
• doesn't encourage playing the same heist because it has the best xp output
• it provides a unique journey to higher levels rather than it being repetitive
• it encourages the use of weapons, heists and attachments people wouldn't usually consider using or playing
• it provides a long list of ways to approaching progression in the game, which adds variety
• gives challenges to the player they wouldn't consider otherwise
• doesn't blend in with all the other similar progression systems in other games which makes this game feel fresh

This game is the greatest in the franchise yet and I just hope it stays that way upon the iterative updates to come.

The Bad
I'm not going to beat a dead horse or go beyond petty about the server commotion. It is a problem, but I have transformed that time that I was unable to play the game, into a hell of a time chatting, laughing and sharing the dread we all share in those downtimes. I have added a lot more value in to my life, thanks to properly transforming the dread of downed servers into memories to look back upon for years to come.

There are a few more negatives that I can put down when it comes to the game, but those are nitpicks at best that will most likely see an implementation in a future update to come, so it is not worth mentioning.

I understand people are upset about the game's performance. However, despite that, the game doesn't deserve this much negativity.

True, the game definitely needs fixing because hey, half of your experience is viewing it.
However a review recommendation is based on the game as a whole...nearly 20 hours in to the game and I have had a fantastic experience with so much to see and do, thanks to the vast open worlds and seemingly never ending innovations and quality of life improvements over the first game.

This game is the perfect sequel, and I can see that the amount of work and effort put into this game deserves more praise. I found this all out through 40fps consistently across the game.

The only thing I hate is the FPS. But just like getting used to 60fps from when you usually play 144fps. I've done that but for this game. I've gotten used to the game with 40fps which only took a couple hours.

But I would prefer over 59fps asap Respawn. thank you very much.

EDIT: Frame Generation is such a game changer, not only did it double my fps but I also discovered that RAM speed also caused an improvement which now makes the game run so much better. A bit unfortunate Frame Generation is only a Gen 4 Nvidia Graphics Card feature though.

this game has the change to fill the void where Ready or Not doesn't. RoN is my absolute indisputable favourite game of all time. But this will be a close second or tied with RoN if the same passion, quality, effort and love goes in to the game as much as Ready or Not gets.

I don't have the slightest idea how hard it is to implement game features...

But one thing I cannot stand by is servers. - You might wonder why do I think this because servers have everything over peer-to-peer connection. Not true.

When I buy a product, I expect that from that point, I always have possession of it and can use it as and when I feel like it. However servers don't allow this to always be the case. What if my internet goes out. Their servers go down. Or, just like what happened to me in my first two hours of play, lost connection to the server while mid game.

I buy games to use as and when I feel. Not by chance I have a smooth experience between me and the servers. - Also what if one day the servers get shutdown. No Thanks.

I like this game as much as Ready or Not but there are these problems that I just can't be ignorant of.

I bought the game at full price and further spent £60+ on the Supporter Edition and the game itself still had overwhelmingly positive (>95%) reviews on steam long over a month after it's early access release. Me spending this much money on a game is so far into foreign territory that I have never done this for a game... It became my favourite game of all time in a matter of time within the first 2 hours of playing the game.

Now... just look into my none-existent eyes and say if I recommend this game or not...

Pre-ordered back in 2015 and still don't regret it.
