The game already has a decent amount of content, enough to barely justify the price, and only seems to have more on the way. In terms of gameplay it's simply a solid base defense game.

The only major negative is that the options for the UI feel rather lacking and you can't control things like scroll speed or anything.

To keep things brief

If you enjoyed Dead Space and want to support some of the people who made it, get it. Otherwise it's hard for me to recommend this to anyone else at full price.

To be more clear

The game is absolutely one of the most gorgeous games I've played with an large amount of effort to avoid and immersion breaking UI elements. They took their lessons from Dead Space and used them well.

I want to praise the rest of the game in the same way but I really can't. There are a lot of minor things but two big things for me was subtitles just not working and the combat. Early on the combat system feels pretty good but starts to fall apart in some later encounters where, for example, the game will sometimes throw massive bullet sponges where the only strategy seems to be hold A or D and then shoot the enemy after dodging. Continue this for a few minutes until it finally dies or you accidentally let go of A or D and get killed in one shot. I cannot describe the joy I felt seeing one of the basic enemies and bashing their heads in a late game full of frustrating 'bosses'.

All in all, it seems like the developer is dedicated to the game and I hope that once they finish optimizing the game they can look at addressing other aspects of the game. So while I can't recommend it now I hope that will change in the future.

Reach's port has been a bit of a mixed bag so far but an overall positive mix.

The port is relatively stable, I had a lot of problems with crashes early on but after a while they seemed to sort themselves out.

I've had to deal with really bad menu lag with it taking quite a bit of time to switch between buttons in the main menu and to pull it up during gameplay. However this seems to vary from person to person.

The Audio is a mess, at times devolving into nothing but a painful to hear static at times. 343 has said they are focusing on this though.

The current multiplayer lobby is missing some very convenient features that were in Xbox such as map voting, and some gamemodes have been messed with, like infection, but once forge is fully implemented this'll pretty much be fixed.

Everything else though is the same. Halo Reach still holds up after nearly 10 years and fits right in a niche left vacant in today's game industry, and is a great start for anyone wanting to get into halo.

I bought this game tempted with the promise grand space battles alongside equally large land battles. Promises which proved to be fulfilled. I won't go to in depth about the game but I would say if you enjoyed Planetside you'll be able to enjoy this game.

Very good. If you're the sort of person who enjoys the idea of establishing hegomony over the world, and crushing your rival nations. THis is game for you.

Team Fortress 2 stands out immediately with its cartoony visuals and silly humor, unusual when compared to other FPS titles. The gameplay itself also follows suit, with unconventional game mechanics based around team play.
Team Fortress is a must play for everyone and given the fact that it's free and isn't that demanding on most systems. WHY HAVEN'T YOU PLAYED IT YET!
