Tales of Arise is the best game of 2021, hands down. I have never played a "Tales of" game before, so when i Saw the trailer for this and I played the demo (LOVED the demo), I was instantly hooked. I JUST beat Arise This entire game- no, WORK OF ART was the best emotional rollercoaster I have ever been on. The voice acting, the music, the combat, the character development, the story, the CUTSCENES, everything, it's perfect. And I haven't encountered a single glitch or bug. This better get GOTY. 10/10. I'm literally crying due to how good the ending is. AND I LEGIT NEVER CRY!! This game is the only game to make me feel things in A LOOOOOONG TIME. I laughed, i got mad at Vholran for slicing up Alphen and Shionne, I was OVERJOYED when Alphen got his memories back and started BEATING VHOLRAN'S ASS, etc. I highly suggest you pick up this game on Playstation or PC, you will not regret it. The graphics are honestly beautiful, probably the best of any anime game. Bamco and Ufotable put so much damn work, love, and passion into this game and it truly shows. The art direction is great, because the anime cutscenes look AS FIRE AS THE BLAZING SWORD, so are the ingame cutscenes. I can literally sum up the entire art of this game in one sentence; "This entire game is a wallpaper". The gameplay is so addicting, I loved using Law because he reminds me of Natsu from Fairy Tail. Same goes for Shionne, she gives off Erza vibes. The Boost Strikes were phenomenal animation wise, although I wish you could choose which ones to use because they're up to chance as to which one you'll get. My favorite ones are Flashing Fang (Fire Dragon Crushing Fang!), "Consider yourself finished!", Burn Strike (Fire Dragon ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!) , Phoenix Cyclone, and many more. The music is top tier, honestly. I've had Hibana on repeat ever since it dropped on Spotify, and Blue Moon is sweet but sorrow. The characters are all loveable in their own right. Shionne is beautiful but prickly, Alphen is stoic but heroic, Law is a "fight first, ask questions later" goofball, Rinwell (and Hootle!) are kawaii, Dohalim is very intricate and straightforward, and Kisara is "no nonsense, let's get this done". I love this game, it is honestly perfect in my eyes. I beg you all, even if you've only played Beseria or Vesperia, I highly encourage you to pick this game up. It will make you laugh, cry, yell at your tv and exclaim in victory.
I'm going to quote u/andys3rdattempt here because his feelings about the ending are basically the same as mine:

"Those credits. Those credits! Alphen and Shionne built a house! And we're living together! And married! With a wedding! With the final shot being them super happy and hugging and holding hands, with THE happiest smiles ever!

I can't take it. It's too happy, too perfect, too beautiful, to not make me emotional. I'm too much of a romantic, things like this hit me hard. And I don't cry easily or often, it's maybe 3 times a year. But this game did it, broke my cry threshold, those final moments did me in. I'm still holding them back while typing this.

This... This is the happiest, sweetest, feel good ending I've ever seen in a game. Any game. And from such a dark game too. If they'd shown me Rinwell and Law together too, I'd be a blubbering mess. And don't even get me started on the kiss before the credits. Sure, the ending might seem like too much of a 'happily ever after', but I actually love that. A true, fully, happy ending. Don't see that in games often anymore."

Endless modding capabilities, makes replaying so much more fun. Seriously, if you don't have this game and/or Fallout New Vegas, buy them. Totally worth it.
