First the technical stuff, the game is still chugging on modern computer like it did on the release date of the PC port, no matter the setting the game will get blurry, or you will see pop in or transparent models because you haven't enabled the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TAA or FXAA, but what can you expect from a game built by rockstar that was targeted for consoles

Now the content stuff
The story mode is great, nothing more i can say, tho the first chapters are stale.
The weapons from online mode still haven't been ported to story mode, which you have to fix YOURSELF with MODS
The entire region of mexico from RDR1 was cut because of time constraints as well as more areas of guarma are unused and unfinished which could've been changed with an update.
When you glitch into mexico you can still hear the soundtrack from RDR1 playing and most of the map ported in, without buildings tho...

Now the online mode
The online is practically on life support, It's completely ridden with cheaters that can access your IP and your IRL location with it because the game doesn't use dedicated servers instead of P2P, but i guess JEWstar, a multibillion company doesn't have the budget to do anything about it just like with GTA online.
Unless you have a mod menu yourself you will be blown up straight after booting up the game, the animals don't spawn for whatever reason unless you go to a solo lobby which consists of you having to pause the game thread using resource monitor...
Controls are extremely sluggish, when you try picking up a bounty or an animal when you step over it or you get shot you won't be able to pick up anything.
Your horse will try to run away from you whenever you're doing anything basically and stowing stuff on it is a nightmare in high adrenaline situations.
Also the thing where you have to buy absolutely anything from a cataloque is a pain as it's really sluggish and time consuming.

The lack of online content
Rockstar abandoned RDO for the sake of updating GTA online, which renders RDO left in the shadow as a buggy and cheater ridden mess it's today. After painstakingly leveling up each role you find yourself with money you can't really spend anything with it since there's nothing else to buy between a set amount of guns which get boring after a while.
The "monthly update" only consits of changing sales or double XP and gold for certain tasks and items not adding anything new.

My verdict, you're better off just pirating the story mode to have some fun in it since it works better and it also works offline unlike the steam version which requires internet to boot up...
Online is a mess you don't really wanna touch unless you have a vpn and a menu yourself.

I played the BETA, the BETA had better movement and with each update it was slower and slower, everything feels more sluggish like every move has a delay.

Also the weapons are unbalanced as heck, i buy a grenade launcher and dump an entire mag into a guy, it does 3/4 of the damage and i die reloading.

After that comes the heavy with a hammer and one shots you when you're a medium class...

Most of the weapons are either designed to one shot somebody or do no damage at all when they're supposed to be the opposite.

There's also a riot shield for the medium class which there are no counters to, you can't break someone's shield or shoot trough its certain parts...

which makes YOU the sitting duck against a guy you can't do anything to, and you just have to let him get close to you and die.

Not all items have counters, which breaks the gunplay, also there's no penalty for leaving the match mostly leaving you either alone or with just one guy against 6 people which practically means insta lost match...

Devs still support this gem

THE MENUS ARE HORRIBLE
Gameplay seems good to a degree
Lobbies seem empty along with the lobby area lagging hard, and when you do finally get a game you get shot down from nowhere...

Nice game, although level design isn't very coherent and understandable which will lead you to not being able to progress for a bit

Basically the same remaster treatment as quake I got, along with ID Vault and design documents whic hyou can view for your beta content seeking pleasure.
Remaster is free for people which already paid for the game, ID and Nightdive studios never disapoint.
The only con i would give out is not being able to join the original quake2 servers which quake rtx 2 can accomplish.

The customer is top priority.

Play TF2 instead of ♥♥♥♥ gay ♥♥♥♥♥ which scammed me for money back then when i bought it and stopped playing it immediately since it was so stale just like it is now

Literally rebranded the game page to hide the bad reviews, we live in the dark times boys.

- No auto-fire, no aim-snap! = I guess so? The game feels like it was made for phone users more than pc players.
- No lootboxes, no money-pulling mechanics.= That's complete BS, you literally get blasted by loot crates and the authors support ukraine which is an L by itself, but there's only ukraine stuff for free.
- No advertisiments. Completely Ads-free. = False, look up.
- No advantage for paying users, everyone's equal. = True
- No "every-day update" downloads. = Yeah

Game is unpolished at it's current state, not bad but also not great.
And also a warning, There's supposedly a lot of cheaters you can't even report and no anti cheat, so watch out

Good luck trying to play a game while being blown up by 15 yo script kiddies with mod menus that they bought with their stolen credit card. You will get crashed, kicked and mocked for not modding. This game's multiplayer would be so much fun without modders which plaque every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ session.
