Helldivers has been freed from Sony's grip; Helldivers is an amazing game and I highly recommend you get it. So much armour, so many guns, you can play how you want and just like Souls-like games, it will punish you less or more depending on how you play. For Super Earth!

you can blitz gorn in 4 hours, but it has the possibility of replayablility. I fully beat gorn in the same day and my left arm hurts so much; i only used the hammer and bo staff when i unlocked them

The game is asbolutely phenomenal; if you like Souls-like games, space and in-game lore, then this space station is going to become your new home. I have no words to explain, you have to play it and experience it for yourself, it's really worth a playthrough of two!

The game is a lot of fun if you have a team of friendly people to help you with tips and tricks when you're new or trying out harder difficulties (except for some people who flex their levels to feel validation in society like a Player Rank 743 on a Hazard 5 Escort Duty with Crassus Detonator + Gold Rush + Pots o' Gold (not naming names, but you know who you are)).

The game itself is always full of surprises: Rare enemies, skippable events, optional bosses, and let's not forget the procedural generator. They went all out for their generator, no two maps are ever the same, even if they seem similar.

When it comes to the promotions though.. it's an even spread. There are some who are friendly and you can actually hold a good conversation with while mining. But others, like the example written above (the Player Rank 743 I had the dishonour of playing with) will continue promoting their dwarves even though they reached the maximum promotion level for the character just to get a higher rank to feel good about themselves and harass other players that are either slightly or far lower levelled than them (like me, i was a Rank 71 when i had to play with him. He joined after me and I had to endure it for the 5K gold the team mined)

Customization is great. you can customize absolutely everything; your dwarf's look, the gun's skin (in 2 separate parts: colour and look), the gun's perks (+ overclock, which is a toggleable perk), your drone if you play solo, your pickaxe.. when I said everything, I meant it.

Overall, if you're looking to be recruited by DRG exclusively for mining or you're looking to prove yourself on a foreign planet, The benefits given to the workforce will be more than fit for the job.

If you love Archaeology and Science, look no further, for this is the Holy Grail of both worlds! I personally love both those subjects and if you do too, you will love it! ..Just uh, try not to bash your head too hard on rocks, that sound always gives me a headache

I love DOOM as a franchise, the minute DOOM Eternal was announced, i was as hyped as can be. 7 months later (bc i wanted to buy it on sale), i'm happily ripping and tearing on the nightmare difficulty, however between Arc Complex and Phobos, i'm ready to give my verdict but let's start with the cons first:

CONS:
- Marauder. on the Nightmare difficulty, the first time i encountered the Marauder, it made me want to stop playing altogether it's a godmode-type of enemy and i hate it so much, it can: 1) Run pretty fast, 2) summon demons, 3) have a shield to block your attacks and 4) be immune to half your arsenal. you can only attack it when it's eyes glow green. The first time you encounter it is as a boss at the end of Arc Complex, but to call it an actual 'boss fight' would be an insult to literally every other boss fight in existence (even the Dark Souls ones were easier than this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing!)

PROS:
- Classic enemy look brings you back to the pixelly masterpieces of '93-'94 being DOOM and DOOM II.
- Easier challenges for praetor points as opposed to DOOM 2016 for its weapon mod points
- Fast Travel being unlocked near the end of each level, so you don't have to restart the level over and over like in DOOM 2016 to get one secret/collectable that you missed
- Fortress of DOOM. yes, because i like to have a hub to waste time in when i play games, i like how they used the sentinel batteries too; it's like turning in your tickets for prizes at an arcade, except the arcade is a literal apocalypse and the prize booth is the hub.

I have no words for this game, it is just phenominal. a puzzle game and a love story seem to mix very well. If you have a friend or significant other to play it with, i highly recommend you play it with them.

IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME, BELOW SLIGHTLY SPOILS THE MECHANICS THAT YOU'LL FIND IN-GAME

the 5 mechanics that you come across in the game have a very relatable hidden meaning to them, just my opinion:
- (Opposition) The Barrier = having different perceptions on a certain subject or life in general
- (Denial) The Staff = Shielding yourself from another's point of view
- (Anger) Barrier Explosion = arguing over both perceptions being wrong and biased
- (Constrainment) Cloak = Forcing someone to see your point of view to their dismay
- (Acceptance) Ball and Chain = Accepting one another's points of view while still being heavily tethered to your own

In the final level, both perceptions meld together into a "median perception", which can be deceiving for both parties. this median perception is more often than not the reality that they both don't want to accept.

Holy ♥♥♥♥, why did i wait so long after the first one to play this?! sure the plot twists are super predictable, but i cant even describe how well put together everything else is. though at the end of it all (before the epilogue missions), it left me with the same feelings i had after i finished Spec Ops: The Line, those feelings being "was it really worth all the killing? ..probably, idk"
