In all seriousness, this was my first FPS and has stuck with me for very good reason. The weapon sounds are satisfying for their roles and have a solid, industrial feel and sound to each and every one of them.

I can count on one hand the amount of times I've cried in the past 5 years or so. This game was one of them.

When I first saw Hi-Fi Rush being announced, I scoffed at is. "This is so stupid and cartoony, no one will play this!", I said.

I'm so glad I was wrong.

When the first boss fight hits you with it's killer track and brief quips, I KNEW this was a game I need more of. I finished the main story in one continuous session. I can't even remember the last game I did that with!

If you ever played Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter ages ago, do yourself a favour and play this.

Beautiful illustrations and a grounded look at a time that is so strange yet familiar to a modern person. Some of the best and gripping writing in gaming.

This game has one of the best communities ever. My only complaint is that the recent season is a little lackluster, but I certainly won't fault a pinnacle of the modern games industry over something minor.

I've been playing this so much that the only music I listen to is Slurpcore.

While the multiplayer gameplay is very fun and feels polished, that's sadly where it ends so far. You've probably heard about how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the ranking+cosmetic system is, the networking isn't particularly amazing and the lack of choice in which game modes can be played is almost insulting. Once I've played the campaign I'll just go back to the MCC for multiplayer.

If you don't like fun, go find another game.
