The visauals, the story, and most importantly the best part of mirror's edge, the gameplay is just great.
I loved both Mirror's edge 1 and Catalyst.

The games still hold up to this day.

And my god the soundtrack, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so amazing, I have no words. The ambience it creates is just so out of this world, hats off Solar fields!

The game is truly a gem.
Even if you leave aside a really grabbing story, the gameplay of this is just beyond enjoyable. The really good story just tops this game off. I honestly only started this game due to its soundtrack, and I don't generally play these 2D indie type games, but damn am I glad I played this.
The controls themselves are fairly straightforward but the amount of things that can be done differently in each level with just those straightforward controls truly makes this game enjoyable.

I cannot wait for the sequel to this / the dlc that is being talked about, I absolute love the gameplay and the story and can't wait to get more of it.

PS: Just to shower more on what made me play this game, it was the soundtrack "Full confession". And it was so damn fitting at the end fight. The end fight itself was really really well made. The new character lines after every death truly brings you the perspective of how much damage has been done, both to you and the enemy, to the point where it does not even make sense to be fighting but you have no other choice. I just fell in love with it. Naturally I bought the soundtrack as well, its really good.

Super fun with friends. Steam remote play is an even bigger blessing. 2 people can use keyboard, rest two will need a controller if using steam remote play. Any permutation works.

Can play this game for hours and enjoy. I don't know how long it'll remain fun, but the initial few hours themselves are worth the money. Get this game on sale and have a blast with friends !

Decided to buy this game after playing it for countless hours with, well you know what methods.
Pros about this game are:
-Its beautiful
-Soundtrack is 11/10. This game's tracks are really out of this world.
-A genuinely amazing storyline.
-Side missions themselves help you a lot to connect to characters and learn about the world. Some are boring, but genuinely most of them are really great missions making you question yourself.
-Game really focuses on human aspect and has a good message to all of us.

Cons of this game:
-Extremely bad mouse/keyboard support. Honestly if you don't have controller and you don't use the mods, this game is unplayable except on easy difficulty where game automates 90% of its contents for you.
-Dependence on mods to enjoy on mouse/keyboard.
-Somewhat unoptimized
-Resolution issues. Again dependence on mods to fix this.
-Cutscene playback issues. Again dependence on mods to fix this.
-Cutscenes use absurd bitrate which provides no benefit leading to unnecessary waste of space.

Most of the cons are porting issues, but then again, they never really promised a great version for pc, just a port. I am very glad that existence of mods make this game almost perfect.
If you are planning to play this on mouse+keyboard, make sure to get FAR mod (Fix Automata Resolution) and NAIOM mod.
Actually, get FAR mod regardless of if you use controller or m/kb. Resolution is independent of what you use to play.

Once you finish the game, it'll definitely leave an empty void in you. 100%, there is no countering that. The storyline of this game is what one can only say, a beauty.

Works fine. Haven't seen any issues.
The multiplayer feels fine enough I guess, haven't played much though.
The coop campaign is what I bought this game for. Well after learning that coop campaign is not hosted on dedicated server, it was kind of a letdown, but since most of my friends whom I am going to play with are within my country, I don't think its that much of a problem. Got around half a second of delay, which is annoying, but will soon get adjusted to it.

Most importantly though, even if I got nothing from this game, and a heavily locked game that just works on pc, I would still have given it a positive rating, because come on its Halo. I had been sure i'll never get to finish the fight and play the following saga going on, but damn love you xbox, microsoft, 343i and all involved for bringing it here.

Oh well, its entertaining.
Mobile one is just the thing I needed to pass my time in college.

Well i randomly bought this game out of curiosity and tbh i am really impressed with it.

I did not expect it to work this well with many songs.

Some of the songs (English) which went really well were Linkin Park What I've Done, Alan walker Fade,Eminem Love the way you lie, Take That Love Love.

Though not all songs worked well, but it was able to cope up with many which i did not even think would be working that well with this game.


Well audio quality also matters but it should be fine as long as its above 256kbps bitrate. I have most of them in lossless so i haven't realy tried with lossy formats, but i think it should work just fine as long as its not disastrously lossy in quality.


This takes listening to music on a whole new level where you can both listen as well as enjoy it.
Good headphones make it better.


Though the difficulty is way too high in my opinion. Could be am just a bad player but well, its really hard for me even on medium settings. I mean just take a look at Alan Walker Fade and Eminem's Love the way you lie in this and you will realize what i am talking about.


But none the less, i really like this game and it was totally worth. Oh and i bought this game when it was at 66% discount.

First of all, "do not try to play this on a keyboard".

Go for keyboard only if you have a keyboard with anti-ghosting or n-key rollover since multiple keys are to be pressed at the same time.


Now coming to the review.

This game is marvelous. There were a few cons (At least for me) but the pros outweighed them and the story most of all, pretty emotional and great.

Gameplay was fair, controller definitly helps but on a keyboard, its pretty hard to play it since you control both charecters at the same time.

Coming to the pros :-
1) Marvelous story
2) Pretty emotional
3) Good world interactions
4) Epic scenery
5) Spots to view that scenery


Cons :-
1) Camera angle is literally not good most of the time even after setting it through the 2 keys (Which only allow you to move it left and right without any height adjustment. Height adjustments are prebuilt and cannot be altered).

2) Even though scenery was good, camera angle was not good enough most of the time. Also not enough sitting places to sit and watch the scenery.

3) Probably it is me (Could be my GPU issue) but the game appears in 4:3 ratio most of the time. I would have preferred widescreen but as i said, it could be an issue on my part.


A pretty good game overall. Should you buy it ? Yes definitly. Should you buy it at full price ? NO !. Should you buy it in discounts, Hell yea.

Coming to the story, story has pretty good elements, pretty normal story however, there is something in this story not there in others.

This story does not hit you when you think it is supposed to hit your feels (Many people have said it i guess), however, it will hit you at a place and when it does, you will be having teary rivers running through your face (Happened with me).


Game does not have an actual language (or even if it has, i dont think most of us will understand which language is that), but no need to worry, game is designed that way. You will understand each thing perfectly so do not worry about this.

It does not hit you When older brother dies .
It hits you (as in my case) When their father visits the grave and then thinks all this is cause of him and cries.

First, i bought this game from summer sale 2016, and i can honestly say it was worth it. Game was at 80 % discount, i could not ask for more.

Personally, i wanted to play this game from its gameplay which looked quite fun but the price was too much for me to pay.

This review is coming from a guy who plays mostly AAA titles and does not look into games like this.

Coming to game, the gameplay is absolutely fun. Grapplling all the way, running fast, jumping and finding ways with absolutely epic scenery, who could ask for anything more from a game like this.

Story is fair, i wouldnt call it good neither i will call it bad. Its average, ending is what i expected it to be. But i really enjoyed this game. Too bad this game was finished in just 3.2 hours. though i didnt search much for collectables. You can of course go beyond average level and find collectables.


Game is pretty great but i wont recommend paying a full price for it. Buy it in sales, it is worth it in the discount. Very satisfied. Good job devs.
