Barely playable because of extreme stuttering. If you can't make your game run on capable hardware don't sell it to PC gamers! A real disappointment.

Ran fine on my 3070 with DLSS3.0. Gave me a playable 75ish fps throughout on the medium preset.

The lighting feels a bit too bright in places but it does make for a big improvement to the games aesthetic. It looks like a modern game.

This is a wonderful tech demo.

Unplayable unless you drop to 30 FPS due to bugs. I could maybe put up with 60 but 30 is just too low for a pleasant experience when most of us have grown accustomed to 144 or higher.

A much improved remaster that stays true to the original feel and artstyle. My only complaint is that it's expensive relative to other modern remasters of games from this era.

Highly recommended but only when it's on sale.

Best 30 mins spent in-game.

Played on PC with a DualSense and everything worked perfectly.

The actual game-play puts the newer titles in the franchise to shame but unfortunately it has issues.

The game crashes frequently, is locked at 60 FPS and you have to suffer the horrors of EA's bloatware.

Most innovative FPS I've played since Portal.

Good but very short and I would prefer it if i could play the game without the launcher trying to sell me stuff.

I had high expectations for Halo.

Guns feel weightless. Movement lacks air-strafing. Aiming is easy. The default cross hairs are horrible and there's no option to import a custom cross hair. A setting for a simple high contrast point cross hair would be hugely appreciated.

I can't understand why these games are so loved. I guess the graphics are ok for console games of that time and the music is good but overall a very underwhelming experience.

I wonder if the appeal for many is mostly just nostalgia. I wouldn't recommend these games, even at 75% off. They're not terrible but there are many better shooters on steam both classics and modern titles.

Tried 3 custom cross-hair apps and this is the first one to actually work properly without requiring another application to be run. Certain scales (cross-hair size/diameter) can result in a cross-hair that is just a pixel off-centre which is very irritating and unusable in some situations. Fortunately the scale I like best is fine. All other features seem to work fine.
