It's been a while since I've had so much fun with a game.

After playing for over 26 hours, I'm done with the campaign and I can say for sure that this is one of the best games I've ever played. I spent most of this time exploring the maps, trying to find every secret, get every upgrade and play the classic maps. It was worth it.

This is my first Doom game and I'm definitely looking forward to playing Doom Eternal in the near future. I heard this game was well optimized but I wasn't expecting it to run at locked 142 FPS (my systems set cap) on my "meh" PC with 0 issues, Doom 2016 is a technical marvel, and it looks just as good as it runs - I'd say better than many AAA titles from recent years, despite being about 8 years old.

My only issue is that the game was kinda easy (on hurt me plenty at least), especially the bosses. I had no issues with beating the Baalgar, the 3 Guards and Olivia in only a few minutes - you can melt through them easily with the right weapons and upgrades. I was honestly expecting more from the final boss (I thought I was gonna fight something else next).

Regardless of that, this is easily a 9/10 game, and I can't recommend it enough. I will check out what else it has to offer, like the multiplayer modes etc.

One of the best remakes I've ever played. While it takes a lot of creative liberties, I'd argue that most of them result in what's overall a better experience. My only complaint is that the Xen levels, while much more interesting and well designed, are way too long.

Very good but I'm too lazy to write a proper review.

One of the first games where I'm leaving a longer review.

Ever since Marvel's Spider-Man was announced for the PS4, playing it has been one of my dreams, unfortunately, all I have is a PC (and had an Xbox One back then). When Sony announced the game was coming out for the PC, I couldn't have been happier. And let's just say the game lives up to the hype.

PERFORMANCE:
I have a GTX 1060 6GB, an Intel Core i3-8100, 16GB of RAM and I played my 34 hours on Windows 11. I know it's not the best hardware but it's what I have and slightly above the recommended specs for 1080p@60 FPS on medium settings. While I was a bit underwhelmed, considering I had to lower some settings below medium, I was able to achieve a decent performance. It's not the best performance, considering that the FPS drops to the 50s in some scenarios but it's more than playable, and while I wish it was better, the performance is decent enough. On an SSD, there are no freezes and the load times are great, it's all really fast.

GRAPHICS:
Like I said, I play the game slightly below medium settings, but it still manages to look great. The lighting is just perfect, the characters are well done and the materials are awesome. There is a lot of tech baked into the game, and if you have a powerful enough hardware you will definitely enjoy some of the best graphics out there.

GAMEPLAY/STORY:
If you like the Batman Arkham games, you will love this one. The comparison is unavoidable but in my opinion at least, this game is really similar to those games but it manages to improve upon almost every aspect of it. The combat feels better and more fresh, while it isn't as satisfactory to jump on enemies with crazy combos, it is more "advanced" and requires more than timing an attack to one-punch enemies. The base combat has a lot more moves and chaining them together feels spectacular, and dealing with armed thugs isn't as annoying.
But the combat isn't the only aspect of Arkham this game improved, moving around the city has its similarities, but feels much better. Manhattan is huge in this game, and not only that but it is alive, NPCs talk, drive, live their lives, it's all very detailed and well crafted, and just free roaming around the city is very fun, the transversal movement is so satisfactory you rarely want to fast-travel.
The story is also one of the best I've seen in a while, and the characters are some of the best versions of themselves, if you like Spider-Man and/or a great story, you will love the campaign. The DLCs also have their own campaigns, which are longer than I expected and together feel like a second main story. Both the main campaign and the DLCs have enough side-quests, collectables etc. to keep you busy for days, and while some aren't really fun to complete (Screwball Challenges and Oscorp Labs for example), it's a great package, and while I haven't finished everything I really want to, but at the same time I don't want to be out of things to do.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS:
I am no game reviewer so I don't know how to properly put my feelings about every aspect of the game here, but one thing I know for certain: if you have the money, it's definitely worth it, I look forward to completing everything Marvel's Spider-Man has to offer and hopefully Miles Morales and the sequel will come to PC too, as soon as possible.
