Pure bliss.

This games strong sides fit my personality type so I had no problem with this game and I think it’s a fantastic master piece.

this game is good. i have played it a bit, and i am realy enjoying it.

MAP
the map is a weird one when you first start the game the map is empty and you have to fill it out på placeing the islands on the map. that was a weird one for me as dident know how to use it untill i googled it. but when you get the hang of it is amazing and you can really feel your inner pirat channelling.

BOAT
you start with the raft wich is a platform with a sail and a stick. the raft sails nicely but it is hard to know the precise way the boat is sailing.

COMBAT
combat is okay. the game has a simple combat system that is made harder by the animations being ♥♥♥♥ on the enemies when you walk and fight at the same time.

BEST MOMENT
when i was sailing from the jungel island back to the merchant it was in the dead of night i could not se anything besides my tourchs light. i was on the old pirat ship at the time and i stood in the front of the ship to make sure i wasent hitting anything. when suddenly i saw sand. and i ran like the wind to the helm wich i turned like a mad man to the side and doged a massiv island. and at that moment i said to myself. in wich other game does this happen? it just doest happen in other games. only in salt do you get those momnets where you sail in the dead of night. or have to slay 44 pirats at an island for a chest filled with loot

PROS
-the game looks elegant yet simple
-there is allways new stuff to find and new threats
-the ships sails very nicely
-the navigation is awesom and i feel like a real sailor when i finde my way using the map.

CONS

-there is not enough plants on the islands i am talking about the flowers.
-the animations on enemies are to simple.
-the pathfinder for the enemies are terrible (so its almost imposseble to hit them when they are running at you)
-when you get the option to craft a weapon you cant see the stats, so you dont know if its worth it.
-on the jungel island the pochers can trow their spears through the ground so you can´t hide behind hills.
-i have like 13 of the same book. :-/
-i dont allways know where to find stuff.

OMFG! One of the most fun games of the decade! This game is absolutley wonderful, it promotes teamwork and is a blast if you are in a skype or discord call! I fully recomend this game to those seeking adventure! Watch out for the squids!

My first game on A3 brought me the most horrific experience I've ever had in any game, ever.

We're on our way to the objective, a small dump east of a town occupied by enemy forces. I'm leading a team of 4 men. We come to a crossroad and I sprint across, telling my men to hold back. I cross a few more times, trying to get a response from any snipers. Nothing.

I run, my Autorifleman runs, my Medic runs. But I kept my Marksman on the other side to make sure we'd make it across.

Anybody seen Full Metal Jacket all the way through? Remember the sniper scene?

The marksman takes a round in the leg as we're running and goes down. He then takes two more in the chest. The kid who was playing had some mad acting skills, he played it up to 11 here.
He screams as he's being shot. Crawling, drenched in his own blood.
"SARGE? YOU AIN'T LEAVING ME OUT HERE LIKE THIS, RIGHT? I-I WANNA GO WITH YOU GUYS! C'MON SARGE, H-HELP ME! C'MON! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!"
he died after that.
I cried
and he respawned.

12/10, would cry again.
