Impressive shader builder simulator, you can tell that the postponed release date really helped polish and optimize the game. Already looking forward to part two so that I can spend another 60 euro :D

Update after finishing the game: I had managed to avoid spoilers for this game and hadn’t watched the series before finishing the game. So I didn’t know too much going into this game other than there was a fungal apocalypse and that it would be a great story. And truly, This is one of the best games I have ever played. The story, the cinematography, the music, and the characters are just well thought out and executed. Many people have reviewed bombing this game since its initial release and sure the shader compilation is the longest I have ever experienced (it took 25-30 minutes for me).

However, once they were compiled I didn’t have any particle issues and the game was rather smooth on high 1440p. I experienced one crash and two minor bugs throughout my entire playthrough. And the crash happened before the first patch that was launched shortly after the release. It also seemed like most of the crashes were associated with starting the game before the shaders where completely compiled, which is not recommended. The bugs didn’t really affect my experience either I just had to restart the scene. At one time I got back to the spot I should have been if the game didn’t bug and the other time I had to play for 30 seconds to get back where I was before the game bugged.

This game was a really good experience and I quickly got invested in the story. I would give the game itself a 10 out of 10. But I think that the implementation of the game to PC could have been better and the initial launch takes too long. And it seemed like the one-day 30 mb patch could have saved Naughty Dog a lot of struggle regarding how bad it runs. However, I hope that this release doesn’t deter them from continuing with this franchise because I would really appreciate a part two for PC

Went into this game pretty blind and I must say I’m happy that I did. This is a pretty unique experience and the way to that you get to know the character is anything but special. Especially with the dialog that is between Senua and the voices in her head and how they discuss what is happening. Some doubt her some support and sometimes they help you and sometimes they are exceptionally negative. The story and the sound elements in this game are probably what is most emphasized. The gameplay is also good but there isn’t as much focus on e.g. fighting and that doesn’t seem to be the point of this game. The puzzles of the game are well done, however after playing A Plague Tale I really wanted to try to use my sling to try to solve the puzzles, unfortunately to no avail.


Also, pretty cozy death if you let the beast take you down in the cave, really recommend 8 out of 10.

What a game this is and what a series! When I played a plague tale: innocence I really got in love with that game and the characters and the sequel really deliverers. The graphics and the visuals in this game are stunning, though it demands a pretty good system to be able to enjoy all that the game offers fully. I started playing this on a gtx1060 (first 5 chapters), which wasn’t the most pleasant experience but I played the rest of the chapters on an rtx3070 which certainly made the experience much better. Gameplay wise I enjoyed this game and if you are familiar with the first you will quickly adapt to this game. I think they made the additional objects and weapons easy to navigate and rarely had issues. I really like how dark they were able to make this game and I would say that it is even dark than the first game. This is such an emotional roller coaster and the ending made me tear up, it broke me. I would really recommend this game and it is worth its price.

There are some bugs though in the game, but they are just minor bugs. For example, I had to redo one part where I was in the catacombs trying to fix the giant elevator with Lucas. This was because I accidentally died in one of the two puzzle rooms and one of the animals used to allure the rats didn’t spawn back. I also had some issues with the door puzzle later in the game (even though this isn’t a bug), you aren’t able to make Hugo pull the lever if you (Amicia) are pulling the second handle on the right side. You need to make Sophia release her handle and make her do the other one and then tell Hugo to pull the lever. Nothing huge, but it just made me a bit annoyed.

I can’t other than recommend this game, 9.5/10. I really hope they do another installment in this series and based on the ending that doesn’t seem impossible. Long live the King and hail the Protector!

Really enjoyed this game! This is the first Life is Strange game that I have played so I didn't really know what to expect other than that it should have a great story. This one was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and you got really into the story. The characters that you are supposed to like are very likable and the reason people act and do certain things seems reasonable. One thing that I found a bit dragged out was the memory flashback in chapter five but it wasn't because it was boring it was more that there were other things that I really wanted to know and how one particular character managed the "incidence". I would rate this game a 9/10. Either way I'm thrilled for more releases in this serie! In the meantime, I'm gonna check out what I missed in the earlier Life is Strange games.

This one is much better then sniper elite V2. It is really recommended and worth to buy!
