Horizon Forbidden West is quite enjoyable overall.
Guerrilla Games has created yet another Horizon game.

Graphics, voice acting and music are all there and fit the game perfectly.
Even on PC this runs really well without any frame stuttering that plagues many new releases lately.

The story is quite nice as well, I preferred it over Zero Dawn's story.
I did get quite bored of the fighting mechanics at the end, as you only get to defeat so many different machines.

The DLC was quite nice as well, with a beautiful boss battle at the end.
So overall, I'd recommend picking this one up.

This game is digital card crack.
Can't do better for 10-15 bucks.

Finished it in one week.
What a great game.

Music, story, visuals and voice acting are all top-notch.
Definitely worth the full price.

One of the most interesting titles you can buy on Steam.

I finally bought this game after years of recommendations.
I played it, and I wasn't let down.

The whole atmosphere in this game is executed really well.
Great music, visuals, voice, and sound effects.

There are some challenging parts in it, but with some trial and error you'd be able to solve the mystery.

Very enjoyable.

It's a Bethesda game in space, nothing less, nothing more.
Enjoyed my time playing it quite a bit.

The story was cool, but the ending was a bit lackluster in my opinion.
The ending also kind of snuck up on me, so I was kind of like 'huh, that's it?'.
And you also lose all your items if you finish the game btw, just fyi.

There are a few bugs to be found in the game, but overall it was a smooth experience.
A few floating npc's here and there, or some bugged out npc's which required a restart to interact with.

Graphics, lore and music were quite good overall.
It ain't Cyberpunk, but at times, it did look quite good.

This is one of the best games I've ever played.
I've spent 80 hours in 2 weeks, there aren't many games that could make me play so much.

Amazing world, story, music and acting.
The implementation of 5e has been done quite well, with some necessary changes.

This game lands firmly into my top 3 of GOAT games.
I do hope they fix the minor bugs and continuity errors I experienced in my playthrough.

One of the most unique experiences in gaming that you can have.
Before Your Eyes is an amazing little short story told in a novel new way.

Great music, motion capture and voice acting as well.
I can see why it won a BAFTA.

Written after patch 3.5 (May 1).

TL;DR: Great game, poor performance (better after patch).
If you're planning to buy it now though, I'd recommend waiting a bit more for more patches.

I completed this game just after launch, and I loved it.
Even though the performance was abysmal at first, it's still quite enjoyablel.
The patch on May 1st did quite a bit to improve my fps. (+45 fps on Kobo before patch -> 60+ Fps after May 1st). There are still problems with frame time drops (the most jarring imo) and possibly shader cashing as well (can't test that, since I've already completed the game). In most areas I get around 90 FPS now (specs posted below). Visually this game is stunning though!

It sucks that this game doesn't support NVIDIA's DLSS. You get FSR in this game, which makes it look very pixelated. But I guess AMD's marketing money swayed them to only implement FSR, it would've been great to see them both in this game.

The combat in this game is terrific. I especially loved the addition of the blaster stance, which allows you to attack in a whole different way. I played on an easy difficulty, which I find fun. It makes the weapons feel like actual powerful weapons (as light sabers should be in my opinion). If you like it on harder difficulties, it's probably also really good.

The story is fantastic and is also the reason why I kept playing despite the bad performance. The acting, voice acting and pacing are all amazing! Everything you want from a SW product really.

Settings I played on:
3440X1440 (Ultrawide 1440p)
Everything on Epic quality.
Ray tracing off.
FSR off.
Widest FOV.

Pc specs:

Intel i5 13600KF
32GB DDR5 @ 5600Mhz
RTX 4080

Overall I was rather disappointed by this game...

The game is divided into 5 chapters, whilst the only worthwhile chapter in my opinion is the last one.
Chapters 1 through 4 are riddled with cringy moments (not the haha funny ones) that could've been avoided with some better pacing and acting.
Especially the acting is awful, voice lines that don't really fit, wrong intonations, weird pacing with voice lines and motion capture that looks like it was done on a Microsoft Kinect.

They also tried to put in some cool music, but the music was mostly disappointing as well. This game is a game that does not deserve the "Tales from the Borderlands" moniker, as the one made by Tell Tale was actually a good game.

Atleast the visuals were ok...ish.

Cult of the Lamb is a very enjoyable game. I spent around 10 hours over 2 days beating the game. All of those 10 hours were quite enjoyable. Although I did encounter some random bugs, my experience was great overall. Would love to see some DLC in the future that expands on the already enjoyable story.
