Leaving this positive review exclusively to go against all the grown adults mad about the removal of pantyshots of a minor from this game.

I wish i could leave a "mixed" rating, so consider this review more of a "beware" than an actual negative rating. Get it on sale.

Binding of Isaac is a game with an addictive, great foundation plagued by asinine balance decisions and additions that feel like they were not playtested.

I love this game, even going so far as buying it on Steam and redoing everything again on a brand new save file. The gameplay is so simple and straight forward, i can just pop a run whenever i'm listening to something, and it'll always be a different experience due to the sheer amount of items and possible combinations. However, it seems like Repentance's design philosophy was: "Remove everything deemed too strong or game-breaking, because of "muh difficulty"". I'm not opposed to removing items that can single-handledly win you runs, such as old Brimstone, but nerfing these things without adressing the other game flaws, such as item bloat, is a big mistake. I don't want to see Sacred Heart Brimstone Tech-X every game like some redditors think, i just want to have more stats so i don't reach Depths 1 with 3.5 damage. It's indeed difficult to play the game when you get no stats, but it's doable - except it's just plain [b[boring[/b].

I had some major gripes with the alt path/Antibirth content at the start, and i still do have some criticism: Some enemies just do way too much stuff, and should be toned down. This applies specially to certain bosses, like The Heretic, Bumbino, The Visage and many others; their patterns are way too complex and unpredictable for a simple game like Isaac.
I still don't understand how some of the new characters were deemed acceptable to release. Managing two hitboxes with Jacob and Esau sucks. Having my entire HP at the mercy of RNGesus after i took damage from the 1 frame Needle coming out of the ground with Tainted Lost sucks. Being at a 1 hit kill because i got hit by Dark Esau is horrible. At least the experience of the last one is less painful with the new patches, along with Tainted Lazarus.

In the end, i've been playing the franchise since Wrath of the Lamb, and i'll keep playing Repentance, since i'm really passionate about this game. I just wish the devs would drop this weird "difficulty" obsession and embrace the craziness of synergies Isaac was always known for.

I used this game as a source of joke commentary for my sad friend. It worked.

10/10. Really simple but extremely fun game to play.

Hades is, simply put, a masterpiece. 2020's game of the year.

It's a pretty much flawless combination of easy to grasp gameplay and difficulty, a simple but very fulfilling story, unique and likeable characters, masterfully composed soundtrack and a great artstyle. The more modern, fun and laid back take on Greek mythology is wonderful and still very true to the origin material, and it might spark interest in it into players who might not be familiar with it.

The game manages to be both easy for more casual players with it's God Mode setting and hard for those who want it via Pact of Punishment, with it's different conditions spicing up high Heat challenge runs you can find all over YouTube. Every run makes you feel like you've made a little bit of progress, specially with its currencies and various upgrades.
The character relationship system and their writing makes you even more invested into playing the game, so you can find out more about them. It's very fulfilling getting to know each character; they are all unique and really great to interact with.

You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Props to Supergiant Games for such a heartwarming release in the middle of a corporate-plagued industry of yearly franchise releases and souless games.

It has bugs even when you're trying to create an account. Buy Morrowind.

The best horror game experience i've ever had.

Great lore, atmosphere, and a great Lovecraftian feeling. Even if you're not a fan of horror games, try this one out, it's not about jumpscares.

This game has a lot of potential to bring back the old days of SCP popularity.

In the current state, it is barely playable since most servers are full and there's a giant lack of English speaking servers (my first game was in a Russian server, at least they were speaking english)
I believe more servers will open with time, or the player limit will get increased with the addition of new playable SCPs.

The game is pretty simple, and if you are familiar with SCP (or GMod's Breach gamemode) you'll have an easier time understanding the mechanics.
You get randomly chosen at the start at the round to be one of the factions: a Class-D, a Researcher, a MTF guard, an SCP or a Chaos Insurgency soldier. Each factions has their own objectives.

As a Class-D, you need to escape the facility. This task is incredibly hard since most of the other factions are antagonistic to you (with the exception of the Chaos Insurgency). You're not supposed to survive.

As a Researcher, you need to escape too, but you start at a random place on the Light Containment Zone, with a keycard and a Medkit on your hands. Seek the help of the MTF forces and avoid Class-D's, SCP's and the Chaos Insurgency if they are present.

As an SCP, you can be four of the five SCP's present on the game:

SCP-173: A stone sculpture that moves when no human is making eye contact. Kill anyone that crosses your path and avoid being captured by the MTF forces.

SCP-106: A humanoid creature that has the ability to walk through walls, anything. You are incredibly slow, but you can try to attack someone and pull your victim to your "Pocket Dimension", where they'll almost certainly die.

SCP-079: A "sentient" AI running in an old hardware. You can manipulate the facility's cameras.

SCP-049: A humanoid creature wearing a plague doctor suit. You can kill a living creature with a single touch of your hand, and bring them back from the dead as zombies.

The Mobile Task Force (MTF) is a military force deployed later (sometimes early) in the game. Dead players can be brought back as MTF members or Chaos Insurgency soldiers, but mostly MTF. You need to kill every Class-D, save every Researcher and contain every SCP you come across.

The Chaos Insurgency (CI) is a military force antagonistic to the SCP Facility. You need to kill any Researchers, MTF guards, contain any SCP's you come across and help Class-D's evacuate.

Overall, the game needs work in it's online aspect but i can see myself playing it in private with friends.
