Absolutely fantastic Half-Life mod that's well worth a playthrough!

Simply put, one of the best sourcemods of all time.

You owe it to yourself to play this.

Combat is great, but performance is god-awful on some missions (average 10FPS with an RTX GPU and i7 CPU) with no sign of a patch in the near future. Your best bet is to wait until its on sale, as by that point it TT Games may have actually finished optimizing and bugfixing the game.

Psyonix sold out to Epic, and by extension, Tencent. As a result, Rocket League will no longer be sold on Steam by the end of the year.

Yet another example of anti-consumer practices by Epic, and another reason why companies that accept their bribes should not be rewarded with your purchase.

An excellent mod that I'd highly recommend. It does have some flaws (the puzzles can be a tad obtuse at times, the story is barebones, and the game showers you with acheivements for the smallest things), but its well worth it due to the new mechanics. As a civil protection officer, you have far less survivability than Gordon Freeman. Damage that would leave the good doctor with little more than scratches will leave you as a bloody mess. Furthermore, the H.E.V. suit's recoil compensation is completely absent, so you'll need to take recoil into account when dispatching enemies. Unlike Gordon, however, you have access to the manhack, allowing you to damage and distract targets from a safe distance.

Overall, a great mod that allows you to experience Half-Life 2 from the viewpoint of a lowly combine grunt. 7/10
