Please read this before you consider purchasing

I was an alpha tester for this game back in the first couple rounds.

It took around 16 hours to fully install, which for an alpha I expected. (small download pool, etc)
The game itself was good, lacked content at the time, but for an alpha of this magnitude I considered it to be a solid foundation for future development.

I never buy games at release anymore. (No Man's Sky, Watch Dogs, to give a few reasons.) I like to wait under the first couple patches are released to fix launch day issues.

I waited 8 months after release to pick this game up. Being an avid flight simmer and real world pilot, this game offers the best visual flying experience one can get right now out of the box, so I've always been eager to play it since it was announced. I paid the full price of the most expensive version. (which I thought was odd that testers didn't get discounts etc... like other development companies do sometimes, I then remembered this is Microsoft...)

The game took another 9 hours to install, which I thought was curious, given its been released for some time, thought by now they'd have faster download servers. The thing that really surprised me however, is how Steam logs game playtime as you're installing the rest of the game through the in-game "launcher".

I had 10 hours of playtime before I ever saw the main menu. Fun fact, I never got there.

After the game was installed, it went into a infinite boot loop. Never launched. Checked the forums and the normal suggestions were given. "Drivers, Windows" etc... Updated everything under the sun, restarted PC to find the game had wiped all 155GB without explanation. Needed to reinstall again/probably another 10 hours worth, with no guarantee I wouldn't find myself back at square one. Decided to attempt a refund.

Totally unacceptable for a $130USD game. Checked online and it was like reading a car forum. Everyone suggests a different fix with no actual proven fix.

I have X-Plane 11 as my main sim, has been for 4-5 years.

I have 40-50 3rd Party addons and plugins running at a given time. Never has it given me any issues with install, update, or just making it to the main menu, never crashed either.

Personally I would recommend X-Plane to any at this point, its a very powerful sim without; from my experience, the headache of bugs and major issues. And if problems do arise, they're easy to investigate with the in folder log.txt

If you do decide to go with MSFS, I would wait even longer for most all issues to be ironed out.

I feel this game was rushed to launch, and has a long way to go until its stable. I can only imagine the headache that will arise once major 3rd party addons come into the mix. It was a pain with FSX.

Please Asobo/Microsoft. Get a new install method.

Dieses Spiel ist ein Stück Scheiße. Wenn dir ein Qualitäts RTS spielen wollen dann spielst du einfach die erste mit blitzkrieg mod.

A great game for F1 Enthusiasts, however, it is very easy to learn to drive, even wit hall the assists pff its still holds your hand along the way. Great game for first players to auto racers but if you want more of a challenge, check into iRacing or
Assetto Corsa.

Amazing Macro Management strategy game! anyone who likes the CoH series or any of their games, or R.U.S.E, will definantly produce a love for this game. 110!
