Fix the game.
A bunch of people are unable to rematch anybody they fight because of a bug.
Do you know how users can fix this bug for themselves? Unlock Havik and BUY Shang Tsung. Yes that actually is what fixes the bug, I'm not joking. You need the full roster unlocked to fix it. How does this even happen?
This probably won't be patched for about a month or so, so I'm stuck with a broken game I paid full price for.

Compared to the latest FromSoftware games, most of the boss fights here range from average to bad. If intense, challenging boss fights are all you care about, try Dark Souls III, Sekiro, or Elden Ring. But if you really appreciate great aesthetics, deep lore, and intricate level design, this game is very much worth your time.
Right here is some of the heaviest atmosphere I've seen in a game. A dying world with gods and warriors that are way past their prime. Pure melancholic dark fantasy with a sense of mystery and impending doom. This combined with intelligent level design that seamlessly connects every area results in a game that feels straight up magical.
And while I still find most of the bosses mechanically shallow, cheap, and/or gimmicky, I think they all have great presentation. I implore you to read the lore on them after you beat the game, it will hit pretty hard. Even Bed of Chaos, the worst boss in this game by far, excels in presentation and has a very interesting albeit tragic backstory.
This is not a perfect game, it's obvious certain areas were rushed. It's also not as hard as everybody claims, really just a test of patience and humility. But it is really damn good, one of the greatest RPGs I've played. Definitely give it a try.

First off, this game has the coolest skill system I've ever seen. The characterizations of your physical and mental attributes interacting with each other is one of the greatest ideas I've seen executed in an RPG. I would recommend this game solely because of this. However, that is not even close to all this game has to offer. It seriously knocks everything out of the park:

STORY - Layers upon layers. Very mysterious and extremely interesting. Touches on topics such as love and politics beautifully.
CHARACTERS - There is an amazing variety of personalities. You'll meet war criminals, mob bosses, cryptozoologists, unapologetic racists, a pageant queen, and many other sorts of eccentrics.
WORLD BUILDING/ATMOSPHERE - They really crafted something special here, this is an unforgettable setting. Characters casually name drop all of these new fictional corporations, countries, and races. You have to connect them all together and figure out where you stand. Traces of science fiction and the supernatural are present.
GAMEPLAY - There isn't any "combat". You lose health/morale by making bad dialogue choices or failing certain skill checks, lose enough and you die. You improve skills by leveling them up, wearing certain clothes, or doing certain drugs. It's all pretty simple and accessible, and for this game I think it's perfect.
VISUALS - Art style is beautiful, with charming oil painting character portraits. The landscape looks amazing as well. UI works and looks good.
AUDIO - Soundtrack is very solid, with some standout tracks. The voice acting sounds amazing, especially the narrator.

Can't praise this game enough, it is flawless. Big fat TEN out of TEN. Play it...now.

It may be jank, but damn it has SOUL

Most definitely a soon-to-be cult classic. The art style of this game is awesome, you either get it or you don't. Beyond that we have tight movement, satisfying gunplay, replayability, lots of (mostly hidden) content, a unique setting, and humorous characters. This game is a breath of fresh air from the usual indie schlop I see on Steam and I look forward to consooming the devs future releases. 10/10

Horrible game for horrible people

it's a must play for anyone, game's just a masterpiece.

if you have windows 10, it will crash sometimes. but there are many fixes you can do to stop it, the one that helped me was disabling "TabletInputService" in the Task Manager at the "Services" tab.
