This isn't as ruined as most people think, it's still lots of fun and Jagex didn't screw it up too bad ( 'yet ). I'd recommend you try it before you judge it.

If you're used to something like CoD or any easy game this will eat you up and spit you out, it's hard and unforgiving but at the same time amazing and the best atmosphere you can get in a game. I really recommend the LURK mod http://www.moddb.com/mods/lurk and shaders max http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-shaders-max , for LURK you just put everything in the STALKER folder and for shaders max you need to go to gamedata/shaders, delete everything and put the stuff from the mod's shaders folder, you should also tweak ShaderSettings.txt in the shaders/r2 folder if your PC can/can't handle it properly, of course both mods have a readme file.

Every Deus Ex game is amazing and this is no exception, I'd definitely recommend this and Deus Ex 1 ( Haven't played Invisible War 'yet ).

You should feel bad if you're an RTS fan and you haven't played this 'yet.

Like the reviews and description suggest, perfect mix of combat, stealth, role playing elements, there are TONS of ways to complete missions, plot twists, A LOT of alternate story lines, a lot of fun augmentations, basically you haven't played a good RPG until you've played this, it's actually better than the Elder Scrolls in my opinion. I'd give it a 10/10 and I'll conclude this recommendation on a short tutorial on how to configure this game to run properly on modern systems with Windows 7 or later.

This is one of my favorite video games

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome, best third person hack and slash I've ever played, also long and great boss battles ( Except one that was frustrating as hell ), the setting/plot is also extremely fascinating. 10/10

You get to ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up, destroy a huge building just to kill 2 or 3 bugs, fun as hell.
