As a long time Half Life fan and a fan of VR, this offers the best of both worlds. The story and dialogue is great, and a lot of missing pieces from the Half Life story are revealed. They knew exactly what buttons to push, especially for fans of the series. But it isn't flawless; a flick of the wrist sends whatever you're holding FLYING, sometimes in the wrong direction. This made grenades almost unusable for me. But gunplay was extremely fun, the graphics were amazing and well optimized, and the dialogue was fun and punchy.

I'm excited for more!

Early Access Review
I've used this software on and off since early last year, and sure enough I just discovered today that they released it on steam, today of all days! Immediately bought it, even if they didn't add much I'd be happy to support the developers, but that is absolutely not the case here.

It's basically an improved version of what they've had on their website for years (which is still available for free, nice of them!). Textures look sharper, performance is way better, and the UI looks cleaner. There's way more than just that but you get the idea. It's absolutely mind boggling to fly through space and see what crazy and sometimes terrifyingly large things you'll find. I could explore the universe for hours. It's absolutely worth the price of admission.

Side note, Up until now I've never had much of a desire to try vr, but I would kill to try this game out with it.

It's fantastic when it's not glitchy. Occasionally food will go through plates as I pick them up and trying to find where they flew to makes the dish late. Luckily bugs aren't too frequent, but when they happen it's super annoying. I'll give it a recommendation for now, but please fix what is other wise a fun game!

You can b-hop in an incremental game. I'm not sure what else needs to be said.

Absolutely fantastic game. The gunplay is some of the best I've ever experienced, and the leveling up system makes this very addictive. At almost 80 hours in I'm starting to see a lot more depth to this game that I hadn't realised was even there before. Also the consistant updates are fantastic. Would recommend.

If this game doesn't get the “WHOOOAAAAAAA, DUDE!” award I won't know what to say.

This game changed my life, it helped me get through some pretty dark times and still helps me to this day. It has it all, if you want to play it competitively you can (Despite MM needing some pretty serious fixes which I'm sure will happen), if you want to play it casually you can, or you can be like me and play crazy custom gamemodes just to relax and have fun without being too serious. Not to mention you don't have to pay a dime and still can get full enjoyement out of it. Or you can be like me and spend a lot of money on hats which I should feel ashamed for but I don't regret putting money into such a great game.

It has something for everyone. The community has a lot of awesome people in it, and there is so much to do it's overwhelming. I've played this game for almost 2000 hours which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous but I'm still going strong and still getting entertainment out of it.

No matter what happens to this game it will always have a place in my heart and I'll always get a certain amount of fun from it. I'd consider it my favorite game of all time. It's a 10/10 for me.

Where do I even begin? Half-Life is easily my favorite game of all time. The controls are amazing. The story line is intriguing and is hugely expanded on by the large amount of sequels (still no Half Life 3 though). I love how you can talk to the AI in the game and convince them to follow you and help you fight, which can help save ammo, but also adds to the control you have. Honestly, thats what makes Half Life 1 great. Control! You feel like you have full control over the game. You are never fighting with it to get it to work.

I hate to do this, but this is just one of those few games that I simply can't find any flaws with. I would honestly rate this game a 10/10. I often come back to this game and play through it again, and I will continue to do so in the future. If you haven't already, get yourself a copy and play this game!
