Prologue is bad.
Game is immersive.
Servers filled with cheaters. *You can either find a server that has admin, or rent a server.
Beginner sucks, locked guns need to unlock and constantly rekt by better guns.
Menu UI smooth as babies butt 10/10
Still a bit buggy.
If you want fun check out BFV.

You will see the same cheater playing in the lobby over and over again, nothing will be done about them.

I enjoyed the game, but
Motion sickness. i play tons of other fps games but RE village is the only one that gave me a headache. feel free to look up on reddit for people with similar problems.
Why motion sickness? Very close pov.
Just increase pov? Can't, devs turned off the slider so it could give players a "horror effect".
Get mods to increase pov? Sure can but you would see graphics loading in from muddy to clear constantly which breaks immersion.

I appreciate that they optimized the game to be so good and smooth, literally the whole game i have smooth frames but the fact that textures loads in outside of your view and because of it increasing your pov would allow you to see the textures loading in, and thus players with motion sickness will just have to deal with it. With that i just can't help but feel disappointed a bit.

Nutshell
textures load out of view > to prevent player seeing texture load they turned off pov slider = motion sickness with close pov.

also tips:
dont sell ingredients.
This mothe***r duke didn't gave me an option when the game told me to give him ingredients so i straight up thought he just wants me to sell it to him cause he likes food. end up starting new game when 3 bosses in finding out ingredients are limited and missing out on stats upgrade.

i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wasted my money on preorder.

Years went by after this review:
back then i gave this game a chance to fix itself, decided to stop playing and let the devs make the game shine like they advertised.
Install the game back and tries to finish the game but just can't. The gameplay is straight up disgusting.
I've played skyrim which i enjoy but this game is worse than skyrim.
I sincerely want to be immersed in the game but this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Difficulty>
Very hard difficulty is basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty. I have no problem getting through normal enemies. Problem is with the elite enmies. Instead of being "Hard to fight against/ or Difficult to deal with" devs just give them a cheap damage boost. and melee enemies will just run up to your face and end you. and strolling into a sidequest you found on the side will get you thinking, oOO XP means more levels! meaning i can deal with enemies that are higher levels!
Nah, your gun does no damage, you cant stealth them, what can you do? yep just leave the npc to suffer and return later when you have higher levels later in the game. This game advertised "IMMERSION" as part of their forte. but i will talk about why "IMMERSION" is not their forte in the next section.

Immersion>
Instead of strolling into a sidequest and finish it. You have to first go to a lower level area to "grind" your level. *CONTEXT*: saw side quest nearby went to check it out, cops beating up a guy, went to save dude from police brutality, gets brutally two shotted by three police with red skulls above their head. attempts to save the dude from police brutality about 6 more times. gives up. welp you'll just have die until i reach a higher level. exactly where is the immersion in that? you dont do that in real life. hence why difficulty and immersion has to work well together if not is just a clumped up garbage presented to players.

Instead of the game making you look cool i have to try and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make the game look cool.
Instead of the game trying to smooth you into immersion i gotta try and not to break my own immersion or bugging out the game.
instead of taking controlling your character of your own freewill, you will instead feel like the game is controlling you instead. The game is nothing but a virtual jail you need to pay to get locked up. Controlling you into how you SHOULD play it. instead of letting the players play the game out how they want.
Takedown should look awesome right? nope, the basic 101 non lethal choke look like the arm was NOT even moving when youre choking them. it looks like youre just putting them down.
Combat is basically spray until they drop, and AI is soulless.
exactly how are you suppose to be immersed in a game thats full of immersion breaking moments?

Decisions>
do they matter? no.

Customization>
its not even that in-depth. So much for "looks are everthing".
they should at the very least let player apply skins/appearance onto their clothing or guns. Instead of picking up a clothing with better stats end up looking like a clown players could deck out their characters with any clothing models they've picked up before and apply to their current clothing.
You cant customize your car.
You cannot get a fully chromed prosthetic arm.
You can customize your character at the start. but theres not even a plastic surgery option in the game.
Hey lets give it a benefit of a doubt, lets say maybe i didnt play the game long enough to "discover" plastic surgery. Even so, the options are extremely, severely lacking. If looks are everything, this is not what you should have in store for your consumers. Even Nioh 2 has better customization than this disgusting game.
You cant even customize your gun what the actual ♥♥♥♥? Where are the freedom? theres no freedom.

This is a soulless, boring, stale game.

The only thing good about this game is the music.
They fail in every other department except music. Props to the artists.

game still buggy and experience breaking. decided to hop on the game after a long day at work just to be greeted with bugs. Started the game new, reach a mission where you talk to jackie at the food stand. Gotta get into the car to see the ripperdoc with him, Jackie just straight up went back and sat down to continue eating. Couldnt even drive to the ripperdoc without him being in the car. Ran over there just to be insulted by jackie for being too slow. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Imagine having an already tiring day at work, get back home to relax and play some games. Decided to give the game a chance just to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ uninstall it again after touching it. ♥♥♥♥, so much games out there that deserve my attention and free time. A time you enjoyed spending is not time wasted but not this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game tho. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

frustration

This game is good for your little junior wanting to be a music artist, this game can motivate and push people towards their creative minds in music. Top notch sound quality, gives EARGASM. Great animation as well, shown this to my friends and they all agreed this is a pretty cool music game and all wondered why isnt this being recognized and given the praise it deserves to have, it is very underrated and such good music must be shared out onto the world. Rejoice!!
