NFS Unbound is a definite improvement over Heat in nearly all aspects. Better graphics and all that along with the fancy new stylised effects when using NOS, flying, drafting, drifting etc.
Gameplay over all is the same but you have a new map to explore along with a new story which..... is alright. The story is serviceable and works for the game but it's pretty boring and uninteresting, same goes for the characters really.

Racing overall kinda feels the same as Heat but there is now a betting system with other racers as well as a new boost mechanic that changes it up a bit to keep it interesting. I don't really like the new boost mechanic as not only do you have to earn the boost by drifting, drafting, near-misses, grip-turns etc, but as soon as you fill the yellow bar you HAVE to use it in the span of about 5 secs or it disappears which sucks because most of the time you're not set up for a boost which can lead to you losing control and crashing. Heat did it right where your Boost would refill itself but YOU got to pick the right moments to use it to gain an advantage. Also Unbound has a lot less variety when it comes to race types and circuits. Heat had many different race circuits for Rally, Track, Road, Off-Road, but Unbound is primarily focused on just street racing with a little bit of off-roading thrown in there.

Customisation of the cars both parts and body wise is pretty good, it is quite literally a copy+paste from Heat. Sound design is pretty good in my opinion too.

Police are kinda ridiculous in this title, starting out you get slammed pretty hard with these unusually persistent cops that are pretty hard to outrun early-mid game. Not to mention the helicopter is a HUGE pain in the ass, you could lose the cops but then you would have to find cover while the police are out in numbers searching for you. I've had multiple experiences where I would be hiding from the cops, engine off, and they would all slowly converge on my position despite not knowing I was there at all.

The new Heat systems sucks, instead of the Heat multiplying your rep if you manage to safely get back to you garage at night, it's just an indicator of how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you will be once you're in a police chase. The heat level carries over from day too as well as some races automatically put you in a police chase right after you finish the damn thing. NFS:H got it right as well as having the legal street races during the day with no traffic and the illegal races at night with traffic. The traffic and music in this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck too, racing in S+ going 340km/ph on average is a recipe for disaster waiting to happen, the game becomes less about racing and more about dodging the traffic. The music is absolutely terrible, the same 15 songs just repeat over and over making me want to drive off a cliff, Spotify is a must for this game lmao.

Other little things that I didn't like were the physics acting really weird, hitting a car either propels you really fast forward or it randomly just flips your car a couple times. Not only that but death bounces occur when travelling at a fast speed, you hit a tiny tiny bump and you bounce a little, but then your car will keep on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bouncing causing you to lose control or you manage to slow down enough it subsides.

Overall NFS:UB is a generally 'Okay' NFS title, it did push the bar a little with the new stylised effects but not enough to differentiate itself from Heat's overall gameplay.

I give this game a:

Pretty fun game that has quite a bit of content to it. Fighting is fun for like the first couple missions but quickly becomes repetitive afterwards cause you're doing the same combos in every fight. Main story was alright and the DLC was good but it definitely drags out the game a lot due to each DLC having its own list of challenges and collectables.

I think the worse thing about this game is honestly the screwball challenges, they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to do and some of them require you to do everything perfectly in order to get a score, which is fine because it's a challenge but at the same time the target audience for this game are teens, not competitive players.

If you find the game on sale I would recommend to pick it up because it is a good time waster and a fun game to play but the collectibles do make this game very tedious.

I rate this game: 7/10

I mean it wasn't as good as BBB but it was fine to play. Definitely aimed more for a much younger demographic. Game was relatively polished, only issues I had were with the awards not unlocking properly which led to me completing some of the awards again to get the final achievement.

Such a disappointment compared to JC3! The story was ♥♥♥♥, graphics somehow got worse, especially the lighting, and the overall gameplay wasn't that fun. Yes I spent 35 hours on the game which you would think is of good value but I bought the season pass with the game for $60. The DLC was NOT worth it at all! The alien DLC was annoying as ♥♥♥♥ to do and the Submarine DLC wasn't too bad but it wasn't all that fun to play, and the racing DLC was also pretty ♥♥♥♥. It felt like it was taped onto the game to give it some more playtime for players. The races were just not fun to play+ they want you to do it by shoving them all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map. Also they nerfed the jet powered wingsuit making it slower but it can fire rockets. This wasn't that bad of an idea as it was less OP compared to JC3 but it made it alot more boring to travel the map with. I did not enjoy this game and I did not get my moneys worth. If you want to play a good Just Cause game then go back to Just Cause 3 and buy it for $3 cause that game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steal.

I never got to play the orginal game but this remaster was really fun to play. Gameplay is simple so anyone can pick it up and play with ease. Story was good, gameplay is good, jokes were funny I guess, (They are more directed to kids). I bought the game for $30 and I got 19 hours worth of gameplay out of it which isn't too bad, but you could easily speed run the game to probably just 10 hours.

There were a few problems I ran into though, for example; cutscene audio will sometimes go out of sync, the camera would sometimes bug out in small areas and there is a server lack of settings to tweak for both graphics and controls.

A hidden gem that I absolutely loved playing. The game itself is pretty short at around 3-4 hours of playtime and at $20 it is a bit expensive for what you get but you can definitely tell the devs have put a lot of love into this game. I ended perfecting the game because I enjoyed so much (+The crown).

I recommend this game:

I didn't mind playing this game that much, from the first level you can tell they are trying to go for a more story approach which I thought was a good idea. In terms of gameplay I would put it just under Halo 2 as it was good but not as memorable. Also the ending was good I guess, shows that Spartans aren't gods, just soldiers doing their job.

On another note I did really like the fact that sprinting was a power up you could use. I was so sick of having to walk through the campaigns in the past Halo's so the sprinting was a huge thumbs up from me.

So all in all the game I would say the game didn't really try to do much that was different except from focusing on the story a lot more and making the gameplay less boring. To which I was happy about as those were my two main problems with the past Halo's.

I recommend this game:

Halo 3 ODST changes things up a bit regarding the Halo story. The story basically follows around a recruit that split up from the his squad and he goes around looking for clues as to what happened to each squad member. When you find a clue you then go back in time and play as that character and complete their mission. You eventually find the rest of your squad and you escape the city.

I liked that fact that this game gave a different perspective on the Covenant invasion of earth. Most of the missions where you played as a another squad mate were pretty action packed but when you were playing as the recruit trying to find clues in a deserted city then the game does get a bit boring. ODST certainly does deliver some atmosphere but when you're having to walk 800m to the next clue it kinda gets a bit boring.

Either way the game was fun and it had a different story with more character development but to me it was still kind of boring in the fact that it didn't really change anything up when it came to the combat. You used the same 6-7 guns and you faced the same like 7 enemies (Mostly brutes). I just kind of wish they changed it up.

All in all it's a good game for $7 I guess but I wouldn't call it amazing, just more or less average.

I recommend this game:

This was the first time I played Halo 3 so keep that in mind.

Everything I said in the Halo 2 review pretty much applies here. There are 9 missions that feel like they're longer then usual which is good I guess. The game is still fast paced and action packed which is a plus from me. But as a heads up, I did complete the game in a single night in the span of 5 hours. However one thing I was disappointed about was the eye-candy that were the CGI animated shorts for the cutscenes, in Halo 3 the cutscenes are just done with the game engine which doesn't look as nice nor does it immerse as much. But I guess that's because this Halo wasn't remastered but instead ported and optimised for PC. Also the UI does look better and a bit neater. A new thing the game introduces are special pickup items that can be used in combat. However the game doesn't actually tell you what each symbol means so you have to use your special item just to see what it does, thus wasting it. Once i got the hang of it it was kinda cool and did become useful sometimes.

Either way the game was still good maybe just not quite as good as Halo 2A.

I give this game a:
