Gun play reminds me of Escape From Tarkov. I suggest playing with friends as teamwork is crucial.

This game is targeted towards milsim type players. If you like games such as Post Scriptum, Arma, Squad, or Project Reality you will like this game. IMPORTANTLY, teamwork is a must and there are no circumstances where "going rambo" is acceptable in this game. You are limited to historical weapons of this time period (muskets, breach loaders, single action revolvers for officers, ect.). This is the game for a history buff.

Having a mic isn't necessary unless you plan on taking a leadership role.

This game is unique in gameplay/one of a kind. If you expect to start the game and fly jets know that it won't happen if you don't spend money. The progression is slow as any free to play game and buying a premium account is necessary if you hope to get higher vehicles in a reasonable amount of time. However, sales happen often and you can get premium vehicles for cheap (which grants experience boosts). Overall I would recommend.

Multiplayer is not as great as the other black ops (due to jet pack ability). This game is worth it if you love zombies.

This game is awsome but NOTE: weapons can permanently break. I personally like this feature because unlike Dead Island you can't go around smashing through every Zombie.

Story:
I personally like the story, and I actually like and dislike characters.

Co-op/ Multiplayer:
Co-op works really well and the Netcode is really good. Progression is simultaneous in co-op meaning if I start at lets say mission 3 and join my friend at misssion 1 my progress will still be saved and items will transfer. If I start at mission 3 and join another player at mission 3 and play until mission 6, when you quit your game will be saved on mission 6 (I hope that makes sense).

Invasions:
This sort of reminds me of Dark Souls 2 because you can invade another payer as a zombie, but DON'T WORRY you can turn this off in the options or just set invasions to night only.


Movement:
The movement is smooth and makes you feel like a boss. I heard some people prefer controller over keyboard, but I personally cannot aim with the controller.

Optimization:
I get some lag when my character is hit by a spitter (I forgot what the name was), and sometimes at the begining of cutscenes.

-You can turn off view distance, AA and motion blurr to increase performance.
Gun Play:
Honestly it feels like Dead Islands gunplay. The weapons do sound louder (I only used the police rifle)


Final thoughts:
-This game is WORTH the money

9.5/10 because of the cutscene lag which is annoying, but not game breaking.

Best WW2 shooter I have ever played! RO2 has a great community with people willing to work together. This game is a must get if you are looking for a realistic FPS.
