Chivalry 2 is looking pretty neat minus the blue spawn on crossroads

I backed the game since the alpha stages.

I can say that they have certainly come a long way since it was first available to play within the alpha and beta stages, and to say the least I am nothing but amazed. Not only did a developer actually bring something so far, they managed to release it at a (in my opinion) top quality state.

I've already got over nine hours, and I played them all straight as soon as I first launched the game.

The gameplay itself is challenging and it attempts to actually draw you into the world. They promised realistic combat, it took me over nine attempts to beat just two enemies in one sword fight, I kept having to reload the save due to dying again and again. Although this can be frustrating to some, and even clunky to others I think many of the people who write these reviews fail to understand the core concept of the game. Regardless, it is certainly worth the money, and in my opinion the time as well.

I'm going to be honest, when the game first came out I was entirely impressed at the number of players and the size of the battles. It was extremely epic seeing players form shield walls and formations to brace the oncoming enemy forces. Howerver nowdays, since the failed launch of the epic, which everyone was excited for, the developers said they would take a break. Now personally I can understand the amount of work this could take and how they need time to rest, I could understand that. However instead of saying a week or two... they took months. They installed small updates but it seemed to have only made the game worse. I'm really sad that this happened but there's no one to blame here really but the developers themselves. The servers nowdays are dead and gone and what use to be no longer exist. I do not recommend this game for that reason.

TLDR - Devs have allowed the game to die and didn't try, or at least tried hard enough to revive it. Don't get the game now.

This is literally one of the best games I have ever played, the conclusion of the game made me cry, of happiness or sadness I will not say. But this story is an amazing one. 150000000000000000/10.

It may be an old game but it was one of the first games I got for steam. And I still love it. How is watching guys stab and shoot each other with arrows not fun?

If you love WW2 era games, then youll love this game. Your able to customize your plane, and fly into combat no matter what plane you have, unless your doing a historic battle, theres no "National Sides" in other words, you can have a german plane be allied with an american plane. And you get to blow the f#$@% out of everything!
