A genuine wholesome look at childlike innocence, and the stages to growing up.
This game feels like a Summer Vacation gone wild and is the closest game I can think of that gets the imagination of childhood down flat.
And with a cartoony artstyle and tone similar to Costume Quest!
Please play this game, it is worth every penny.

If Spiderman 2 for the Playstation 2 was the best Spiderman game, then this game has single handedly taken its place.
From the amazing web-swinging controls, to the fun arkham-esque combat, its an all around treat.

Throw in tons of suits that reference the comics and movies prior and you have the perfect game for any Spidey fan, old or new.

A fast paced movement shooter with Steve Blum as the main protagonist, an anime aesthetic, and Machine Girl for the soundtrack?

A perfect blend of high octane chaos, violence, and whacky anime shenanigans make this game a surprise smash hit for those who long for a game thats fast paced and packed with replayability.

The contender for my GOTY.

While the launch of the game itself was a mixed bag due to most of the Bugs and Glitches, the game still stands as truly a fantastic experience on its own, as well as a great representation and gateway for the Cyberpunk universe.

As a pretty big fan of the 2020 Tabletop game, I was wanting a game that would *feel* like that world, and while it does have a few hiccups when it comes to character customization, and the backgrounds still overall feel very minor in the overall scope of the story, they still give enough depth to help you make your character unique in each playthrough.

The gameplay id say is where the game starts to show a bit of its cracks, the Gunplay itself is weighty and fun, if not a bit simple, which isnt bad but can still leave some to be desired. The driving is a totally different ballpark, bikes feel fine, but cars feel like theyre on ice. Overall the driving is as bad as GTA4, maybe a bit worse.

Story however is where this game excells, while you may or may not have as much of an impact on the world quite like Fallout New Vegas, you are left enough breathing room to make your arch as V very personal, and like the tabletop, you cannot change the world as a single person, and it very much feels that way but yet what you do accomplish helps you fill and go through a fun character arch, and with Johnny Silverhand himself having nice character growth, it all feels worth while. And the characters you meet along the way are all spectacular, from Jackie to Panam every major npc you ineract with feels like a real person in this world, even if some dont do much to the overall story, none of them are outright forgettable beyond them being underutilized at times.

Now as much as I am praising the game I do think it was sadly neutered due to the current AAA game market, it was overhyped and because of that it was rushed so Investors could make money, and its very clear in some areas. While I cannot speak for everyone I feel like the advertising was hardly misleading beyond possible console performance, everything that was "promised" from what I was seen was there but just a bit rough around the edges. Some story elements seem haphazardly thrown together to try and make it more approachable to potential buyers. Cyberpunk 2020 is not a famous game like dnd, and thus not as well known, and nowhere nearly as approachable, so they did have to kinda water it down. But despite that, I will say the overall spirit and message is present here in the finished product.

Overall id say as it stands the game is a fun time, solid writing and gameplay makes for a compelling world, but the fact the game was rushed due to corporate meddling and the way the market is set up is very obvious in some places, and honestly hinders the game this could have been had the developers been allowed to make the adaptation of Cyberpunk that fans of the game and genre truly deserve. Its an ironic shame that Cyberpunk 2077 was hindered due to Corporate negligence.

tl;dr: Decent game that gets too much hate by people who dont like/who dont care about Cyberpunk, and rushed due to their inability to have reasonable expectations 7/10

Honestly the potential in this game has me more excited than anything, with a control scheme that screams DS combat, a quirky yet well written sense of humor, and an amazing soundtrack to boot.

Truly worth a playthrough and I cant wait for Episode 1
