There's 3 things I like about this game
1. I got hours of interesting gameplay, and puzzles
2. It may be outdated, but it still holds strong as a great game

After 1000 hours over the course of 5 years of this game, I feel it may be time for a review.

I have seen TF2 go through some changes over the past 5 years, and while MyM may have split the community, I think one large issue is the players themselves. If someone is new to the game, they get treated like a 5 year old, and pushed around due to having little knowledge of the game. If we, instead, told them what they could do to improve, for instance, tell them to try training, or to request a coach, not "our f2p was dragging down the team"
That's killing this game.
Obviously, not at a rate fast enough for us to notice, but it's the people that hate on the f2ps that complain about this being a dead game, but we can save it if we accept new players, make them feel welcome, and make them want to invite their friends to play, and their friends, and their friends. (plus, as a little bonus, if you help new people, you get a pretty nice cosmetic)

So remember this, if nothing else, when the pyro update comes, help the new players that get interested in it, help your friends to get interested in it, don't push people away.

I only got a few minutes in, but what i got was good, although i met the minimum, i could not play the game, this is most likely my own fault for buying a new game with a ♥♥♥♥ pc, but either way, great game, but requesting refund.

why you should get this game, but also why it needs fixing.

>Friend buys me csgo and tells me to get to rank 3
>2 weeks later I finally do it and we play some comp matches
>Friend leaves, I keep playing
>playing match
>game freezes
>In the corner I see the dreaded countdown
>I check steam, and steam is down for maintenance
>Tries to reconnect, but to no avail
>2 hour ban
>Fast forward to now, steam has been pulling this ♥♥♥♥ for a while
>Steam goes down in middle of match
>Computer overheats, as i had some games and a lot of tabs open
>The wifi goes down
> The house catches on fire
>I save my computer
>I jump through my neighbor's wall
> jam my power cord into the wall
>plug my hdmi into the tv
> get back on comp
>14-15
> my neighbors are shouting at me
> I tip my fedora and create a fedora-forcefield
> I look back, all my teammates are dead, and they have all 5 players
> I clutch the match, and rank up to global gold master nova elite 3

But seriously, don't ban people who get kicked off by maintenance.

It's a great game, and worth the 99 cents, because it suits multiple play styles. Fan of COD? They have a firstperson. Fan of The Division? There's a thirdperson. Even fans of the original metal gear games, there's a top-down view. The graphics are great, but the one problem that a lot of people have, including myself is the optimization. The devs have made an amazing game, but they haven't made it for everyone, as some people don't get computers directly from our lord and savior Gabe Newell himself.

It is a lot of fun to play, and I would recommend you all to try this, It is really good. If you are looking for a fun game to play, you found it.
