A Doom-like Roguelite, with a Borderlands artstyle

... just without the dated cringy humor.

I love it.

A short but sweet game if you're lookin for a unique little horror.

Kudos to solo game devs that try putting their passion projects out there. Keep up the great work!

A lovely artful action roguelike on the path of improvement.
This is what I would describe this charming game.

If you love the art style and are looking for a quick new roguelike,
I'd highly recommend this game.

Ever since Minecraft started to really take off many wanted in on the survival open-world hype. Either a chance to contribute to the genre and create something unique, or something so outright terrible that you'd rather sell DLC than fix the base game- BUT HEY ENOUGH ABOUT ARK SURVIVAL EVOLVED!

My discovery for this game and how it pulled me in is a mystery to me. It just appeared on my featured list one day with some decent looking box art enough for me to give it a click and see what it's all about. And that's when the warning lights started going off, "Early Access/Survival Game" ..... not really words that incite confidence. Yes it had some interesting trailers showing off it's content but I kept convincing myself, "It's just another mediocre survival game with a ton of bugs. Don't bother!" and yet it kept calling out to me. So after looking up what little gameplay footage I could find since the game was only a day and a half old upon discovery I've decided to finally give it a chance.

Instead of going into detail on my experience with the game, I'm going to summarize them in short bullet points.

-Is this game even Early Access? Why does it run so smooth? (the bugs are almost rare)
-Boy I love keeping my home well lite. I'm so glad fuel resources for torches are easily acquired from trash mobs.
-I wanna move some furniture around. Will I get my resources back when I take it down? Yes. Yes you will. (most times, but often you do)
-FREE LOCAL COOP for when you are unable to own or maintain a dedicated
-Gee willikers my character sure is kitted out and highly skilled (oh yea did I mention there's separate skills to level up your efficiency?) but I wanna play in my friend's world and don't feel like rolling a new character. Then make like a Terraria and transfer your beast of a character over.

That being said it does have some short comings. The only thing I wish it could improve on is better snapping when building structures. Seriously building bridges feels pretty complicated when building parts don't snap into places you want.

Overall I'm having an absolute blast with this game so far and I haven't even scratched the surface. Solid combat, amazing art direction, a very clean crafting system, and excellent musical score. A promising game with so much potential and I can't to see what else it'll offer in the future.

And like I said earlier, while many have tried a few managed to nail it exquisitely, and Valheim an Early Access Survival Crafting Game hit it right on the head.

I highly recommend this game to anyone with no financial discipline whatsoever.

With real money you can buy armor with insane stat bonuses that give you a cutting edge in battle, ranging from increased headshot protection and flashbang resistance from your helmets and increased movement speed from armor.
And if you're a real horndog they have female soldiers up for purchase that show just the right amount skin that would pull any 12 year old away from Fortnite.

So what are you waiting for? Be the good consumer that you are and give this game a shot.

I don't normally like MOBA games but Smite comes from a different type of cloth that makes it feel like a tolerable and fun game to play with your other MOBA loving friends.

"Each of the Steam Controller’s input zones and buttons has been positioned based on frequency of use, required precision, and ergonomic comfort."

... I got carpal tunnel the moment I clicked purchase.
