Sucked on release, but with balancing and optimization plus incoming new content the game has a brighter future.

Very fun game to pick up and play for a couple games as both killer and survivor. While the higher ranking killer/survivor gameplay is very heavily meta-based, it is still possible to enjoy non-meta builds in all levels of content. A lot of the PC community is very split though between very welcoming, and hating new players introducing new playstyles. Overall the game is very enjoyable to play casually and competitively and these various rankings of players is well split as to ensure the enjoyment of both the killers and survivors while still throwing in the odd-ball for higher/lower ranking players.

Better than a Bethesda game on launch, actually a fun game if you just dont read the "video-game journalist" reviews on it. Optimization and bug patches are needed in every game, this one is no different.

Game is pretty damn hard to get into but once you understand the basic mechanics of the game is progressively becomes more and more fun

It's a lot of fun but you need to get mods for custom songs to really experience the game, once you have your own custom songs though the game's content is infinite. It's lightsaber guitar hero.

Played on switch first, but 100% grab this game when it goes on sale, which happens what seems like monthly, being able to play in 4k with mods and other addons was very enjoyable and the PC port was amazing.
