Games really good at its pricepoint of 0$, for 8$ it's not a bad competitor to lethal company, and it maintains the weirdly janky but fun movement of TABS/TABG if you were fond of that

Early Access Review
EDIT: As of 2 or 3 days ago of this review, devs pushed an update with one key note in the logs as following:
"Progression adjusted. XP required per rank reduced by half. This should result in a better leveling experience. This adjustment, along with most things during Early Access are subject to change." "Subject to change" is alarming, but this is a step in the right direction, alongside the support update coming.

I want to reccomend this game, I honestly do. But the grind is just absolutely Staggering, to quote another review I saw loosely, this game has an insane grind notable to even War Thunder players. I started this game as anyone would, and the first 4 or 5 hours during the honeymoon phase are honestly really fun, the game plays decent, its not a bad experience. Then you get to actually looking into the unlock system, and the camos, and the prestiege system, and then you start noticing issues with the settings. To start off, the issues with the Unlock system are that it's just incredibly basic, a terribly long grind and that's not an enjoyable grind at all either, by the way. In my 9 hours of playing, i'd gotten to level twenty eight? 27? thereabouts, and the levels cap off at 200. The issues with leveling however, are the fact that this game boasts having what, 39 guns? except seemingly 29 of those are so late into the game you wont be getting to use them until you've put 100 200 hours in. There seems to be a new gun unlock about every ~8 levels, but that's across classes and categories when the majority of categories don't have sharing between classes. An example being the gap between the LMGs or their lighter variants, or even the assault rifles, with the first LMG being unlocked at level Twenty, and the second LMG being unlocked at level One Hundred. Long time to be using one gun of a type, ay? Then theres the camos which are the next variant of progression, skimming over weapon modifications because it's the typical "get kills with weapon to unlock" and thats reasonably fast by what i've noticed, which isn't grindy at all and feels right. few games to max a weapon should be about right, and thats what it seems to be.

As for the camos, they're all Incredibly basic, some of the higher level ones simply being flat colors or having so little variety beyond generic basic camo pattern #10023 that game devs churn out of their generators, theres maybe 1 or 2 camos i'd consider running out of the probably 100 available between prestiege 0-3. Another main thing with the camo system is the fact that grinding camos has always had a little bit of a "show off" aspect to it, when as far as i know there's exactly Zero spectate moments in this game that would allow for that. (Oh, and the main way to unlock camos is again weapon kills, and i believe it caps off at like 2500 kills or 3k kills per gun, at prestiege 3, no challenges i noticed, Good or bad? up to you to decide.)

As for the last point i mentioned, the Prestiege system. Obviously i'm not high enough level to have seen exactly what it is at this point, but i'd also hope Noone is seeing as the grind required is obscene and the games not been out long enough to get a good read on the situation so far as thats concerned, however it seems like if the game follows typical prestiege mechanics, you'd be wiping progress to unlock more of the arguably ugly camos offered in the game, and that's it, which makes me wonder was it included for Any reason except to be a copout to say "We have endgame progression"

A personal issue i had with the settings was that the game felt incredibly color bled compared to the playtests to the point of being almost black and white, but fiddling with drivers seemed to have resolved that, the main complaint i've seen about settings otherwise was that there was a lack of an option to disable headbob, but i've played a fair bit and maybe it's just become unnoticeable to me, but i haven't seen a setting to disable it either.

All in all, the game's honestly fun. I really want to reccomend it, but as soon as the honeymoon phase ends and people see just how bad the grind is, the games gonna end up dropping players to the point it ends up having 5k be a peak, or the devs are going to adjust this system and fix it. I paid 15$ to continue the playtest, and i wouldn't reccomend you do the same. If you played the playtest, you played the superior version of this game and you should let that memory stay the superior variant.

(Edited to add, forgot to mention the map design is Atrocious, with most maps being occupied by a flurry of buildings with destructible walls and features, but not the buildings framing, and most of these buildings (read: basically all of them) have upper levels accessible by 1 or 2 tiny staircases which always end up being complete disasters to push, and just an almost unenjoyable time if you cant make ground. And this game has character customization, but so far legitimately 90-95% of it is locked behind your Patreon sub status, or if you have the bundle, I understand they need to make money after launch to keep developing but it's not setting a good precedent with the quality of released camos thus far for future monetization.)

Game is genuinely fun, but the devs are incredibly committed to murdering it and draining your wallet in the process, grind takes Literal years to get to modern vehicles, or you just swipe and pay 70$ :)+ recent updates have nerfed the economy, making the grind even longer

I've played this game a little bit, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece

My only issue with this game is how not worth it and poorly designed master mode is, and the fix for that is simply not to play it, this game could not be better and if you dont buy it we need to have a heart to heart

The game was fun, until the WEAPON REBALANCE and the skins you can unbox that can drop firearms with skins and STAT BOOSTS, the rebalance made pistols do a LOT more damage then RIFLES, because 9mm is bigger then 5.56, right?.

theres a solid 110.73$ for DLC, avoid this game like the PLAGUE.
