It's good

I get home from my work as a Janitor, only to come on and play this game about being a janitor. Living the dream.

Enter the Mines. Die. Enter the Mines. Accidentally blow yourself up. Die. Enter the mines. Find cool wand. Die because a guy is firing slugs at you. Enter the mines. Find Portal. "You have angered the gods." The crime? Existing. Die.

And I can promise you this. I will be right there outside the gates. I will try to get deeper. I will die once again. And I will return to do it all over again, and there's nothing this game can do to stop me.

For as much flak as this game gets, I still enjoyed it. I mean, it's not a terrible game. Nor is it even really bad. It's not the best Saints Row game in the series, but it allows you to certainly feel invincible. While I do think the story and some characters could've been handled better, the main Villain was actually really interesting. I just wish we could've seen more of that in the story instead of though collectibles.

If you want a power fantasy experience, give this game a try. If you're looking for a more down to Earth experience, try Saints Row 2.

Ahh yes. A game set during a time where the only way to deal with a bully was to fight back. Rule the school, and beat down anyone that tries to "teach you a lesson."
