Really fun for the first five hours or so, so if this is on sale its totally worth it.

The fifth character - The Witch - was the first major hurdle and it confirms the negative feedback that some content in this game requires above average luck. It plays something like slay the spire on the surface, but there are some major pieces missing to give the player enough control and skill expression to consistently win the difficult sections.

Fun for all skill levels with the best netcode I have ever seen

I couldn't get into this game after trying a few times, but when a friend wanted me to join for "league start" and level together that was a lot less intimidating. My recommendation: If you bounced off this game the first time, try leveling with a friend :)

Surprisingly deep game with long combos

It was worth the $5 I spent on it. Fun and challenging. It only took me a few hours to beat it once and explore the whole world, keep that in mind.

Great game overall. More forgiving than Dark souls, and a larger open world. The multiplayer connection for cooperative play id pretty good, and pvp is frequent. What the PvP does fail at is ungodly hitbox issues due to latency, but I rarely get any "lagstabs" like in the original. The final negative is the arrival of a Season Pass for a game that was supposed to have no DLC, but I would say it is definitely worth a buy!
