I wish i could give this a mixed review instead of a negative or positive one. Going into it right after finished the previous 2 games makes it look like a massive downgrade and most of the charm is gone.
-The neat little graphic novel panels have been replaced by generic cutscenes.
-Thanks to Rockstars autism for realism Max can no longer hold an entire arsenal of weapons like in the previous games or how the other cool protagonists from that era of video games could. He can only now hold 2 one handed weapons and 1 two handed rifle WHICH HE PUTS AWAY AFTER EVERY SINGLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MENIAL CUTSCENE. The bullet time has also been made less fun it will immediately stop when Max stubs his toe into something and also has to take a literal second to get back up if you're under fire thats your problem. And you cant do the cool thing where you burst through doors in bullet time to kill everyone in the room either Max will just donk his head in the door and flop on the ground.

The appeal is there. If its the first Max Payne game you've played or been so long you forgot the last two games you will like it.
The soundtrack is okay and you get to kill Brazilians. 5/10 Turned the game into a generic third person cover shooter.
