This was a really really cool game. I love the art and shaders of the game, the concept is awesome and I think single-sessions games should get more attention. I knew it was going to be a short game, but I'm on my hands and knees thanking GOD that I didn't buy this game for full price. The current price is INSANE for what the game offers

I wasn't massive on how boilerplate and linear the levels felt at times, and I disliked relying on the 'way forward' button. It would have been great if I could just be reminded where the level ends instead of the next checkpoint. Waiting for cars, lightning and flickering lights was genuinely painful.

I didn't expect the prologue to be as effective as it was, but the end of the game being dangled in front of you the whole time was pretty tiring. I didn't like the fake out ending either, it was out of place and even felt like it was wasting time.

The learning curve of the game is pretty much just knowing how far you can jump. I understand why there wasn't any progression on top of this, but gameplay was getting pretty stale towards the middle of the game. It speaks volumes that the golf level was as fun as it was. A bohemoth effort would have to be done to justify the current ask price so I'd like to see way more added, for example:
- Procedural level generation
- More minigames (frisbee, tennis) + collectibles
- More environmental storytelling
- More open level design
- More frequent story beats

Honestly, if I had to pick a game to recommend, it would be this. It's a game that demands constant attention and rewards smart/deliberate choices. While playing, there's never an unfair moment and the mechanics are very finely tuned.
If you're interested, pick up this game and become invested in the role-play elements as and progress the skill-curve.
