Fun, chaotic game. Patriotism required, teamkilling optional.

Punishing Metroidvania platformer but it is a fun challenge. The controls are tight, although I'm not crazy about the climbing mechanism. Platforming is challenging but fair, boss fights are good, and the music is atmospheric. The lore is deep and dark with big Spanish Inquisition vibes. I'm on my second playthrough to get the "true" ending before starting the sequel. If you liked Salt and Sanctuary, this is a good one to get.

Donate to the church, you won't regret it!

Fun game, interesting feedback loop. Not my normal style of game but I've enjoyed it very much. It feels like several games in one as you progress, from the diving and hunting to the restaurant management. The story is silly like a 80s comedy but it is very fun and rewarding. Boss fights up the challenge, but you can upgrade weapons to deal with them. There's a lot of optional collection to do, and an area you discover later even adds gambling and racing. There's a lot going on here, but it never felt overwhelming. Highly recommended, plays great even on my wimpy old laptop. Definitely better with a controller than a mouse and keyboard.

Highly recommended. Not many games will let you romance a bear and a squid in the same run.

Fishing meets Eldritch horror in a push-your-luck game. Fun and addictive little game!

Dead by Daylight is fun if you are of the schweddy tryhard variety. This is a great way for me to get my fix while waiting for the next Souls game to drop. I knew playing as killer would be fun, but I was surprised by how much fun it is to play survivor. Really it is best to play both to learn how both sides think and how the perks influence play (a ton).

But if you want a casual, relaxing experience, probably skip this one.

Slime Rancher is definitely a dopamine dispenser game. It's like a first person Sim Farm with lots of bright colors. It is fun to explore the map and the crafting system has some good depth. The random quests that come in sometimes don't make sense, like getting a request for a crystal plort on your 2nd day, but they generally keep it interested. I will probably wrap it up once I have seen the map and collected all the slimes.

A love letter to the Metroidvanias of my childhood, and frankly better than most of them. Tight controls, beautiful design, fun mechanics that add some depth, it's just a good and fun game overall. The story is kind of a generic for this genre, but that might be by design given the obvious inspirations. The music is not quite on par with SOTN but it's a good homage without seeming derivative. The game does seem a little easy, but I did just beat Salt and Sanctuary on NG+ so that's probably me, not the game. I haven't beaten it yet, so hopefully it gets more challenging, else I'll play it again on Hard difficulty. The map is very big, I've only seen 20% of it or so with 5 hours into it, so I expect I'll get through the first playthrough in about 25 hours.
There's supposedly a special secret ending, but I recommend playing it at least once without guides so you can enjoy the pacing organically.

Bloodstained also supports mods, so, you know...look into that.

It's a Souls-like Metroidvania. You will love it or hate it. I really enjoy it, and see a few mechanics that From should incorporate into their next Souls-like. My only complaint is that the music options are somewhat limited. Otherwise, good game and worth your time and money.

More of what you love, a lot more. New factions, new plot. The races feel different enough that it is a new experience evrey time. Mod friendly, which is great because some of the old annoyances are still in the vanilla game but are easily modded out. Looks good, not hugely improved over the first game. Again, mods help. Lots of expansions to keep it fresh.

The Mortal Empires mode allows you to basically play the the combined map of both TW: WH games with all factions. Truly enormous in scope.

Fun for the OCD schemer. The mechanics aren't terribly deep but they are fun.
