So, this SHOULD have been the best video game of the last 10 years, based on what was promised in early tech demos, media highlights, and the reputation of the studio that made it.

It's still a really good game, but it's just not what it could have been. That's what all the negative reviews are about, people are way harsher with their criticism when they feel betrayed.

Go into it with lowered expectations and you'll have a really good time. It's basically a borderlands style looter-shooter, with VERY light perk based RPG elements, many of which are still completely broken/useless. The driving sucks, but the combat AI is actually pretty good now. Gameplay is great, though a bit on the easy side. Stealth is trash, don't bother with it.

The story and characters are great, but not what was promised. There's no branching storyline, just a traditional RPG with actions that don't matter, and a "point of no return" that you can load back to and try to get all the different endings. Don't expect dragon age or mass effect style story telling, even though that is what the promised. Blame the higher-ups.

It's still a very fun game, for all the flaws. If you've already played GTA and Red Dead 2, and are just desperate for another "big game" this might be it.

It's just smash bros. But the characters are a little more floaty, you have better air control. Monetisation isn't especially obnoxious, for a f2p game. The fighters are well thought out, and pretty balanced. Some strats are cheesy, (shaggy mains) but nothing is overpowered.

The cast is a little small, but it's growing all the time, and the interactions between them is charming. I'd recommend it!

Yeah, you're gonna want to revert that update.

When I was a kid, Halo was my favourite shooter. I didn't have an Xbox, and I've been waiting for Halo to come back to PC since they announced Halo 3 as a 360 exclusive. That was 13 years ago.

This package is exactly what I was waiting for. I'm not disappointed.

I like swords.

Easily the best five bucks I've ever spent on steam.

A good game? Probably. I loved the flat version. But I didn't play this game. I couldn't get past the DRM, and had to request a refund.

It's a shame too, I watched some reviews before buying it and the game looked really good. But obnoxious DRM that prevents people from playing the game, is not so good.

I hope rockstar learns from this mistake when they make their next VR game, which I sincerly hope they will make.

If you've played Insurgency mechanically this is a lot like that. Except the guns are really bad. They feel immensely satisfying to use, they're just either inaccurate or have miserably slow rates of fire.

This is awesome, because having bad guns forces the players to get up closer to eachother, switching the focus of the combat to mid and short range encounters. Running headlong into danger feels less like suicide, and more like a risky play.

Can't say enough good things about it. Hyper simplified RTS. Playable with a controller, so it's a great game to unwind with in front of a TV.

If as a child your favourite books included Redwall, Watership Down, and the Communist Manifesto, this game is for you.
